Some possible good news here :

Mohamed Salah is still at the dressing room and wasn't taken to hospital, looks like the injury isn't as serious as it looked at first.

I don't think it matters if he feels OK. Just like it didn't matter with Fabinho.

If he lost lost consciousness (which he did) Sports science team will say he can't train/play for x days.

What's for sure is that we wont be playing against Barcelona. FFS

Exactly.  What happened with Karius is ample demonstration.  Can't be rushed, no matter how desperate Mo is, or how okay he might feel.

I had a really bad feeling when I saw him go down, I'm really worried about Tuesday if we also don't have Firmino (that being said hopefully big Div can step up again ;)) Seriously though I really feel for him and I really hope he's okay for his own sake as well as ours.
if I came home to allison in bed with my wife I'd ask him to phone Virgil to see if he wanted to pop round too.

Who told you that he lost consciousness??I have obviously seen the game and I am not exactly sure if he did loose consciousness or not...
He wasn’t unconscious I don’t think. You can see him keeping his head up to stop it hitting the floor when he goes down, then sat up, then went down again. I was thinking it might have been a knock injury after seeing the replay. All speculation though, just fingers crossed.

Thanks for that, here's what I heard from Klopp a couple of minutes ago when asked about Mo, and I felt a little relief for Mo:
"He watched the last 15 minutes of the game from the dressing room..." and "He looked good, but I don't know..." and something along the lines of "We'll see".  But at least from the above, Mo will be OK I hope.

There's no way, it was a concussion. He'll be back for Wolves at the earliest, and definitely for Ajax.

Depends on his symptoms. The earliest he can return is 6 days after sustaining concussion in an advanced care setting. It's delayed by each day he continues to experience symptoms. If he's concussed, and I suspect he is from what I believe was tonic posturing when he hit the floor first time, then he'll be out of Barca and just about make it for Wolves hopefully.

Has concussion been confirmed? Or you speculating?

It’s almost impossible he hasn’t suffered one. He was motionless for several minutes then taken off on a stretcher blinking and holding his eye/forehead area.
He can walk around normally doesn’t mean he should be anywhere near a football match for several days

He wasn't motionless after the collision. Right after he fell down, he lifted his head a few times; watch the replay. If it was a collision causing the concussion, he'd be out cold after the fall. He had a backlash, which may have still caused concussion, but no one but the doctor would now.

what the hell lads..everybody is saying that Mo' looks COMPLETELY FINE.

if they suspected concussion he would have reached the closest hospital straight after heaving the stadium....but he actually WENT TO WATCH THE REST OF THE GAME IN THE DRESSING ROOM.

and to be honest, I didn't suspect concussion at the beginning ..Yes it was a bad knock, but Mo' was perfectly conscious.

who knows what the prognosis is, certainly no one here, but sure it is good news he's fine to get on the bus with his teammates! That dosen't mean he isn't concussed though. But great that it isn't as serious as it looked initially.

Surely nobody thinks he's in contention to play on Tuesday? :o

Even if the tie was finely poised I don't think he would be anywhere near the team.  With the tie being all but over - we live in hope, of course - there's just no way he'll be doing anything on Tuesday beyond supporting his teammates from the stands.

The way some people are talking it sounds like there's some confusion between "concussion" and "coma".  A concussion, even a severe one, wouldn't stop you being lucid shortly after.  As countless studies have shown though the full effects take some time to show and the risk of really severe brain damage is increased by having another head trauma shortly after.

We're the same fans who spent the summer poring over footage of Ramos on Karius to explain Karius's erratic performance in the CL final...

That's called tonic posturing. It's a classic sign of concussion/brain injury.

If it was a collision causing the concussion, he'd be out cold after the fall.

You don't have to lose consciousness to sustain a concussion/brain injury.

what the hell lads..everybody is saying that Mo' looks COMPLETELY FINE.

if they suspected concussion he would have reached the closest hospital straight after heaving the stadium....but he actually WENT TO WATCH THE REST OF THE GAME IN THE DRESSING ROOM.

and to be honest, I didn't suspect concussion at the beginning ..Yes it was a bad knock, but Mo' was perfectly conscious.

You can look COMPLETELY FINE and still have concussion/brain injury. The medical staff at the club are also well equipped and experienced enough to manage a concussion/brain injury and not every instance needs hospital assistance.

Suerly he wouldn't be carrying his case if he was concussed.

Jeez man, he's not an invalid!!

Since when they started this concussion rule. I’m pretty sure they never had that back in the days. Really hope it’s not true and he’s back for Tuesday.

That's because back in the day they didn't realise that a second concussion whilst still recovering from the first can kill you.

He may well play Tuesday but that will be because the club have assessed him and his scoring on certain tests will be equal to his baseline, I'd be surprised if he does though just from looking at the video evidence of him immediately after the collision.
