He wasn't motionless after the collision. Right after he fell down, he lifted his head a few times; watch the replay.
That's called tonic posturing. It's a classic sign of concussion/brain injury.
If it was a collision causing the concussion, he'd be out cold after the fall.
You don't have to lose consciousness to sustain a concussion/brain injury.
what the hell lads..everybody is saying that Mo' looks COMPLETELY FINE.
if they suspected concussion he would have reached the closest hospital straight after heaving the stadium....but he actually WENT TO WATCH THE REST OF THE GAME IN THE DRESSING ROOM.
and to be honest, I didn't suspect concussion at the beginning ..Yes it was a bad knock, but Mo' was perfectly conscious.
You can look COMPLETELY FINE and still have concussion/brain injury. The medical staff at the club are also well equipped and experienced enough to manage a concussion/brain injury and not every instance needs hospital assistance.
Suerly he wouldn't be carrying his case if he was concussed.
Jeez man, he's not an invalid!!
Since when they started this concussion rule. I’m pretty sure they never had that back in the days. Really hope it’s not true and he’s back for Tuesday.
That's because back in the day they didn't realise that a second concussion whilst still recovering from the first can kill you.
He may well play Tuesday but that will be because the club have assessed him and his scoring on certain tests will be equal to his baseline, I'd be surprised if he does though just from looking at the video evidence of him immediately after the collision.
