How would a pre login work if you're buying for someone on your friends and family? You might not qualify but they do.

Answering my own question, I suppose it would need to be a 2 stage process

You might qualify for one but not the other.

- Only allow logins from eligible accounts
- Only allow logins from accounts where at least one f&f qualifies

Personally, I'd go for the former.

you need to select Continue Shopping or something similar. It's a link inside your basket page from memory

Add all the cups to your basket before payment. Paying automatically logs you out.

Still plenty in Kop 208 and 202 for both domestic cups

Actually it is. You simply allow logins for anyone eligible to buy in that particular group of sales.

All 202 for the league cup seems to adult child section, but managed to get one in their for European cup...surely they need to highlight these sections?

Couldn't understand why it would not let me checkout my seats, had to remove everything, add them back when I realised it was the league cup one!

once you checkout, it logs you out. So just add to basket otherewise you'll go to the back of the queue.

Finally sorted. No kop left for Europe. A few pairs left for domestic ups, but plenty of singles. I've just got a pair in 203 for FA Cup and in 103 for league cup. Had to settle for lower Annie 126 for Europe though.

But you've got the issue of the actual log in page being behind the queue so neither of these would work as people would still be trying to access the site regardless of if they can checkout or not.

The whole purpose of the queue is to basically manage the amount of data being sent to the site - If they let everyone in at once it would probably cause a DDoS like attack

Well yes you could, but you could be buying for more than one with different friends & family.
Just suggesting that a proper system would be able to cope with these things & you shouldn't need to use their login.
