I was thinking of introducing a rule whereby any regular would have a set number of default entries per season which would kick in if the player misses an entry.
For example, if a player posts for the first four weeks of the season (or four consecutive weeks after joining), he is considered a regular. He would then be allowed to miss four entries (typically two weeks) during that season, in which his entry would then by default consist of the first players on the list that could have been picked respecting the rules (i.e., the favourite, the first player with odds over 25, the first over 50, and the first two over 100). Of course, the downside is that someone could end up winning the league thanks to points gained from an entry they never made.
I know the holiday period is coming up, but I don't think it'd be fair to introduce the rule mid-season, but it's something I'm considering for the future seasons. Any thoughts?
