Disk error

So just acquired a desktop computer,it had windows 7 installed and it was given a "disk error" message,was about to order a new one but thought I'd install windows 10 before

making a clone for the new disk,now the error message has stopped coming up????

Try some of this stuff to verify the disk is not caput:
