We got the second leg at home as well. On paper, it's the best possible draw.

Great draw. Hopefully we get good draws in the early FA cup rounds as they are in the same week as our LC semis against Stoke.

Interestingly the final is scheduled on the same weekend as the merseyside derby, and only 2 days before City come to Anfield. In all likelihood at least one of those fixtures will be moved.

This is taken from BBC. You better double check, but I can't see any reason why the games would be moved. Maybe TV clashes or policing reasons though, who knows.

Maybe not, they could be awkward and only give us 10% which equates to our normal away allocation.   We would still be obliged to give them Upper and Lower Rd End.

Would be delightful, and Stoke will probably have to attack a fair bit if they want to have a chance to win the tie, which should suit us pretty well. Mark Highes will have seen how we've picked off Chelsea, City, and Southampton though so he'll be wary of pushing the boat out too far.

I reckon they'd probably take a draw in the first leg and then take their chances with their backs to the wall at Anfield.

In any case, hope we find a way to smash them up in the first leg so we can rest a few in the second leg. Presumably they'd rest a few too if they lose the first leg by more than a goal.
