It could only be Ancelotti or Klopp..

I hope for Ancelotti, finally a big and experienced manager for this big club.
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

Hypothetically, who would be the main options to replace Mourinho if he were to be sacked, assuming Klopp joined us already?

Surely Ancelotti wouldn't go back after they sacked him before, and there's no other top managers available currently. So if they sacked Mourinho and Klopp had already joined us they could be looking at the second tier Avb/Spaletti/Mazzini type replacements for Mourinho - meaning that they're probably unlikely to fire Mourinho yet.

Point being, One reason it would be delightful To get Klopp would be that it makes it likelier that the shitstorm at the plastics will continue for a while longer :-)
They've gone second tier before, AVB, Di Matteo, Grant.
94 Corner to us. Last kick. Ali in the box and he’s scored

For me an Ancelotti or a Klopp are both just the cherry on top of the cake. Both of them are in very different ways are great motivators. They aren't empire builders or people who reconstruct clubs. One is a manic German whose teams mimic his hyper personality and the other is a suave Italian who exudes class.

FSG need to construct the club because when you think of it the manager or coach should be the last piece of the jigsaw. The infrastructure, the ideology, the way of playing and the foundations should already be there. The pre-requisites should already be in place and the manager/coach should be chosen after the framework has been constructed.

When we were successful the manager didn't matter because everything else was in place and the manager was chosen from within. We need to sort the structure out get knowledge and football nous into the club and then go from there.

This.

Klopp
Simeone

after that I am pretty unimpressed. Ancelotti is a finisher rather than a builder of teams, we need a builder in my opinion

The transfers of three are heavily controlled by others... Zorc at Dortmund, Mendes with Atletico & crazy owners always around Carlo.

I'd love Ancelotti, but who wouldn't want a bit of this nuttiness instead? Either way we win.

I'm not one to really care about the manager's personality; but those celebrations scream 'bellend'.

I seriously hope FSG have other changes in the pipeline.

It would be a shame to get a top class manager but still have morons in charge.

Like putting a 5 grand carpet down in the bedroom before putting a roof on the house.
13mins - Bournemouth have gone home. Utd kicked off anyway. Still 0-0 as Smalling passes it back to De Gea.

Why do you think Klopp would be a mistake, personally I don't think you can afford to get anyone else.
Klopp can get you third this season, I think he's perfect for a club like Liverpool.

Yes, I think managers doing that too often tend to look like bellends. It has little to do with the result of the game.

If he were scoring for anyone else you could say the same about Sturridge. A manager's chosen method of celebration really isn't important. If Klopp came and won us some trophies he could run bollock-naked down the touchline and wave his cock at the Kop for all I care. Be a bit weird obviously. We'd probably get used to it in time.
