Am I right in saying that the villa match isn't going to be moved due to EL or TV and will be on Sept 26th.  Want to get the £16 train tickets before they go up to £40!

Crap, did not realise about the west ham Europa game, no one I was able to get affordable ticket for the Sat, give some incentive to watch those games hoping they get knocked out.
I really wish someone would stand up for the fans with all this schedule rubbish, the worst thing is that I doubt it would cost the Premier League a penny of their TV money to fix requirements from SKY and BT

Unfortunately their next game is against a team from Malta and then looking at the access list http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/season=2016/accesslist/index.html
I think they will be seeded in the 3rd round playoff.

Yes, I didn't realise in time either. Looks like it will be sunday. Ah well, missed out on a ticket too on wednesday but have the travel sorted!

Hopefully someone will sort me out or I will get in Late Availability.

I'm fairly sure that they said by the end of July.
Quote from: Harvest Fields
i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

TV matches for October and November should be confirmed and announced in early August.

For fixtures from December onwards, live TV matches are mostly confirmed on a month-by-month basis. The Premier League will seek to confirm live TV matches approximately five or six weeks prior to the start of the month in question. For example, December selections are typically confirmed in mid-October.

Its statements like "TV matches for October and November should be confirmed and announced in early August." that make me despise the premier league so much.

I t would have taken 5 minutes of time for one of their corporate muppets to have said to Sky and BT in the rights negotiations that games had to be fixed by these dates, say 1st July, 1st August, it not even like the second half of the season when with cup games /  replays the TV companies have to try and balance which games hey get to show.

Same here. No games will have been played by the time these are announced, so why couldn't they have done them all earlier this month?

Don't know if it's been already posted but the home matches with Southampton, Crystal Palace, Swansea & West Brom won't be a Saturday due to Europa games the Thursday before. According to the UEFA website Europa group matches are set for, 17th Sept, 1st Oct, 22 Oct, 5th Nov, 26th Nov & 10th Dec. The derby w/e 3rd/4th Oct will also not be a Saturday.

Tie not over at only 1-0 but I'd say forget about it mate. That's what I did, just sorted myself for Sunday aswell. A real sickener as I thought it would def be Sat at 3pm.

Can only live in hope, they will probably win this tie but then face one of
7 Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC (SCO)/FC Astra Giurgiu (ROU)
8 AIK Solna (SWE)/FC Shirak (ARM)
9 FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk (BLR)/Wolfsberger AC (AUT)
10 Hapoel Kiryat Shmona FC (ISR)
11 Ferencvárosi TC (HUN)/FK Željezničar (BIH)
12 FK Čukarički (SRB)/Qäbälä FK (AZE)

Also  is there no chance of the game being moved to the Monday?

No, there are internationals that week.

Also, they have been drawn to play Inverness or Astra.

I saw below a few weeks back on another site re the West Ham match.

What convinced me to take the punt (see below, although it does not say August matches) is that I think the game might be fixed in the next announcement of TV games before the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League is decided. I am not sure that the Premier League would leave moving the tie until the outcome of the result of the 3rd qualifying tie is known.
This appears at the end of the .pdf file that accompanied the announcement of the TV fixtures last Friday.

'PLEASE NOTE THAT AMENDMENTS TO LEAGUE FIXTURES ON A WEEKEND FOLLOWING A EUROPA LEAGUE GROUP STAGE MATCH IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER, INVOLVING CLUBS PRESENTLY QUALIFIED FOR THE EUROPA LEAGUE GROUP STAGE, WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE SAME TIME AS THE BROADCAST SELECTIONS FOR OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER. IT IS ENVISAGED THAT THESE WILL BE ANNOUNCED PRIOR TO AUGUST

I fully expect them to change it last minute if and when West Ham get through.

I didn't realise in time and banked on Saturday, but now have Sunday sorted too.

The qualifying game finishes on the 6th of August, that's still 3 weeks before the game. My guess if West Ham go through they will probably announce it on Sat 8th and given the travel distance for the away fans and the train disruption it will probably be at 12.30 kick off.

Birkirkara 40/1 for  2-0 win.

We're over in Liverpool at the end of the year for the game against Leicester and we were just thinking of doing some more days around. Maybe we would like to go up to Sunderland. Preferably somewhere in the away end, but in the home end if needs be. That game is scheduled for a Bank Holiday Monday, to make up for the lost holiday because Boxing Day is on the Saturday.

My question is, does anyone know whether it's a full fixture list for just one day, like all games being played on Boxing Day traditionally, or would Sky and BT spread the games between Monday and Tuesday? Any advice would be greatly cheered!

Monday nights are capped at 4 games per season, I don't there are any constraints on midweek games other than team can't play more than 28 televised games in one season and they can't clash with European games.

Cheers Alf. That would probably mean the bulk of the fixtures is dumped on the Monday and Mancs play Chelsea on Tuesday. Ah well, better not take any chances so we'll book until Wednesday 30th if I have it my way. Thanks again!
