5.54 am and I am putting my shoes on now.  I'll be out the door and away on my bike in 2 minutes on my bike.  Hopefully I won't irritate some whoppa motorists to the point they want to kill me huh.

When you get a bit of good customer service.

It shouldn’t be the case, as you should always expect that but it seems rare these days.

Assuming you're in the UK, they aren't getting in formation to fly south, they will be finishing their migration from further north (Greenland, Iceland etc).

For some reason the sound of the fog bells at night and seagulls in the day always reminds me of Xmas day when I was about eight.

Probably because we lived close to the Mersey, fog bound on Xmas Eve and the seagulls flocked to pick up any spare Xmas food which had missed the bin.

In an amusing version of this, I did the same trying to help someone in an electric wheelchair the other day. They'd been shopping and not put the handles of the carrier bag properly over the back of their seat and as she was going past I shouted 'excuse me, your bag is about to fall off'. Instead of stopping to let me help, she put the fucking afterburners on and left me for dead :D Been wondering ever since if the bag made it back.
that's hilarious. Did it have kers and drs by any chance?

saw someone actually shout out loud one day when she was closest to the guy anyway

"Its ok ILL HELP THE BLIND MAN"

bitch.

Anyway what's pleasing me is the work I've done on my house I'd literally no idea I was capable of. In about a fortnight I've painted 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. Going to start another bathroom today which is the smallest room left. (Took so long due to being in work during the day, people showing up to the house, people getting in way etc etc)

I've done a decent job that would have cost 100s to get someone to do. All in time for a baby due by end of month.

When an absolute arse of a man hands his notice in at work. We've had what I can only describe as a wanker working with us for a few years, he's leaving in December and I am so happy. He is apparently hanging on till then for a Christmas bonus which I've just been told is going to be shared between me and a few of the young lads I work with. Karma.

So the wanker will miss out on the bonus.

That's what I call a bonus.

Yes, he's in for a shock, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. We have all been working our tits off for months now, doing roughly 70 hours a week, he has decided that 50 hours is enough for him. I loathe him, have had to restrain myself a few times from beating his lips off. Have even been told by the girls in the office that he wants that to happen so he can try to get some money out of it. I may even hate him more than I do Mourinho.

I like little victories, the morale in our factory has gone up just from knowing he's going. Yippee.

Oh theres much more to it, just that we are here till 8 or 9 oclock in the evening and hes at home with his feet up watching telly. Ignorant to the fact his job would be on the line if quotas aren't fulfilled. Anyway, bollocks to him, hes a 50yo man whos just moved into his daughters spare room and is about to take a job delivering pizzas apparently.

I'm still happy as well, which is getting rarer these days.

used to do that job myself though it was a top up to my normal wage

50 hours is enough but i can see why people wont see it like that when in the same job they are working 70 hours
