Oh do fuck off with your faux moral outrage.
I know. Their fake morality and plastic coutrage is vomit-inducing.
I hate all this, being outraged on someone else's behalf, bollocks.
I've come into contact with plenty of Juventus and Italian fans in general on holiday and never had any issue. Bitters see the whole thing in black and white and only even comment on it all these years after the event as a grotesque point-scoring fest. How Everton fans can set themselves up as moral guardians beggars belief. I wonder if they feel any moral outrage towards their own scum element who slashed to ribbons the back of that black, Man Utd fan back in the day, then sang to him the next time the two clubs met... ''.... how's your back?'' I can't quite remember the guys name of the top of my head.
Everton fans have a long rapsheet for violence and racism, so why they see themselves as paragons of virtue is beyond me. Maybe it's simply a complete lack of self-awareness? Also ironic how they sing 'Always the Victim...' when they actually have the biggest victim mentality and self-pitying attitude of any fanbase I know.
EDIT: Just checked out the guy who was ribboned by the Bitters. He was a young boxer called Jobe Henry. He needed 200 stitches, and the attack ended his boxing career.
Don't you just love moralising, pontificating Bitters with their fake outrage and self-righteousness.
