One of my all time favourite musicians has been nicked recently too. A guy who I've been to see a good number of times live in concert. That riled me little bit especially when you take this song into account:

There was a piece in one of the broadsheets today. Indo or telegraph. An interview from 1990 with Saville.
Can't find it on my phone but it's amazing the amount of people who knew what was going on with them.
How it went on for so long and tolerated is insane. It ain't just the paedos that are guilty here. It's a national disgrace.

I did some work experience for a company in the late 90s and the person who I used to have to call boss told me in no uncertain terms that Jimmy Saville was a necrophiliac. Everyone used to call him barmy, but at the time he'd said that there was apparently a Polaroid that did the rounds in the late 80s. It's mad to think now how he knew.

It says in the article I mentioned about the time he spent with his dead mother. Sounded sweet at the time. Less so now.

I am so sad about Rolf. I loved his TV shows and I loved his music, and I really feel robbed of a part of my growing up by finding out that he was a right bastard. Obviously my minor discomfort is as nothing compared to the distress of his victims, but to a degree, his previously adoring public are also a victim in all this. We all thought Rolf was one of life's good guys.
