Oh my goodness.......... what is happening........
THIS HAS TO BE A DREAM!!!!
could, should had 3rd or more... bit more composure...but the occasion got better of few players...
Lets go back to how we started and kill the game off!
Gerrard brilliant... unlucky with the header on goal, great defending. Flano needs to be careful bit more there.
The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.

Sakho looks awkward with the ball, but I think that's just how he is. He is perfectly calm and in control.

We came out like rockets. City got more composed as the end of the half neared. Great job so far. Just need to make sure City don't get a quick one in the first 15 minutes or so of the 2nd half.

Raheem is maturing before our eyes. Amazing future.  :)

Really don't want nervous energy but we need a shift in formation, sacrificing Coutinho for Allen or Lucas needs to be done. Man City were dominating at the end.

Nah. We got a bit nervous, and the strikers a bit impatient. Nothing wrong tactically.

Brilliant so far. Think we've got tunnel vision a bit in the final third because there's been better options,  maybe nerves and knowing another would seal it. Could be four or five

Lucas on if they come at us again in second half. Coutinho has played a blinder so far as has Sterling. Brilliant half . If Suarez and Sturridge come to life a bit more second half we'll smash these lot.

He's awake. Just looks out of form. Still making cracking runs and he's been very good with his defensive work and link up play.

Fuck yes, what a start. Completely destroyed them in the first 25 minutes. Unlucky not to have been more ahead.

- We're getting backed into our box a little too easily, though defending well apart from the late Fernandinho chance.
- Great headers on the line by Sterling and Johnson. Immense
- SAS, and in particular Sturridge, have been quite wasteful. Coutinho should be hitting the target with his shot as well, else slip in SAS.
- Crowd have been incredible. Love the boos when they have the ball! Sounds like an Argentinian cup final! :) :no ;D

Lets get that 3rd goal to kill the game. Would be lovely to get a couple more to pad the GD, but I'd take any win right now, even though we're looking superb.

Same intensity second half.

Awesome. I predicted we would come out like against Arsenal. The one downside is we have been slightly less clinical. I can see either Garcia/Fernandihno getting a second yellow with Sterling and Coutinho to deal with for 45 mins.

Sterling had ice running through his veins for that goal!
