It was more his burst of speed on the counter. His chance, another another one where he just left vidic for dead. But with flanno and rahim down that side hopefully he won't get all that space to run into

Crap, the weather is getting worse. I'm gonna have to run home to get some heavier clothing and gloves. Wind is gusting really bad too. Sounds like a proper Scooby Doo stormy night out there. If Man U had been doing all their crosses in this, some of them may even have found their target!

Fulham were crap against United, only Moyes' ineptitude managed to hand them a draw. They were even worse against Southend. This is a team that the bitters scored four against and Hull scored SIX against. Hull FFS.!!
They are at home, so they are not going to park the bus like they did at Old Trafford. I have every confidence will score a few. Suarez alone is due a goal or three.

Quick question for PoP or anyone else willing enough to answer.

When you are judging the physical condition of your opponent i.e. Fulham may have depleted energy levels following the effort at OT, do you use performance metrics? I mean we are all assuming that Fulham are knackered following that game but would the management team be running numbers to confirm i.e. Fulham players ran more than the average or certain players were worked harder etc.

I know it's not an exact science but was just wondering how the prep would go.

Well this game is going to go one of two ways: We're going to smash them similar to last seasons 3-1 or Maxi's 5-2, or the ref is going to have a nightmare and we'll have a player sent off and goals disallowed, like two seasons ago 0-1.

Who is the ref for this game btw?
