Olympiacos vs Liverpool — 6pm ET — Chicago, IL

July 27, 2014
Manchester City vs AC Milan — 4pm ET — Pittsburg, PA

July 29, 2014
Inter Milan vs Manchester United — 7:30pm ET — Washington DC
AS Roma vs Real Madrid — 9:30pm ET — Dallas, TX

July 30, 2014
AC Milan vs Liverpool — 7pm ET — Philadelphia, PA
Manchester City vs Olympiacos — 9pm ET — New York, NY

August 1, 2014
AS Roma vs Inter Milan — 8pm ET — New York, NY

August 2, 2014
AC Milan vs Olympiacos — 2pm ET — Hartford, CT
Real Madrid vs Manchester United — 4pm — Ann Arbor, MI
Liverpool vs Manchester City — 6pm ET — Charlotte, NC

Anyway the fixtures are a nice 3 days apart. Should be getting into fitness for the new season by then. We've been out of the CL for so long- I can't remember if we'll have to be involved in play-offs by then(if we finish 4th)?

Chance for Brendan to look at what youth players he'd like to use for the squad next season.

Why haven't we played a big European side in pre season in recent times? Unless I'm forgetting one or two?

It'll be like the last American tour after the Euro's. Plenty of the U21's on show.

See you all in Philadelphia.

Did it say if the game is at the Linc or at PPL?

Haven't been to PPL yet but have seen USA vs Mexico and Turkey at the Linc and the sight lines were not bad at all.

Exactly.  Don't we usually give players 4 weeks off after an international tournament?  We'll be lucky to have our internationals back a couple of weeks before the league campaign kicks off.

I'd guess it'll be the Linc. Still not a ton to do within walking distance of the stadium complex, but with Xfinity Live opening up at least there are some bars.

I don't. I'm guessing. But PPL Park is in Chester not Philly, most of these matches last year were in NFL stadiums not the soccer specific MLS ones, and there've been a bunch of preseason friendlies at the Linc over the past few years.

It's a shit tournament..lol

Who in their right mind would schedule matches the 2nd.

Then have the semi finals the 3rd.

Then have the Finals the 4th.

So no rest and a potential of 3 matches in 3 days.  :o

Depends on whether they lift the substitution and squad limits like they do for regular friendlies for this tournament.
