Newcastle went to 1 last season and there was two 2s Southampton and Leicester

Yeah I remember Leicester going to 2 - that was a Tuesday night game wasn't it.

From memory, don't we have a midweek trip to Middlesbrough this season? Might be the best chance this season

Stoke have received just under 3000 for Middlesbrough on the first day of the season. Therefore, it's unlikely that we will receive the 3500 we have had on previous occasions e.g. 2009.

Probably not, but it could be that Stoke didn't ask for the full allocation.

What's going on with all these games starting so high? We're getting a bigger allocation at Spurs than Burnley, yet Spurs is starting higher??? How do they work that out? Corporates MUST be getting a bigger chunk than people have anticipated!

Well how do you explain Spurs starting on a higher credit than Burnley despite a bigger allocation?

More corporates, more players and family, more sponsors and partners.  Hope they all get legged back to Seven Sisters.

That stand at Burnley has a little box section in the middle of the away part, which is normally half empty for every match if you notice on the TV. I assume that it is for away clubs to use for players and guests.

Anyone follow KopExchange on Twitter? Theyve put a picture of an email on there that a "high end" corporate STH has put on where the club have emailed them and offered 2 tickets for Arsenal! I wouldn't be surprised if the club are deliberately trying to squeeze normal fans with away credits of the ladder so they can keep increasing the amount they give to corporate STH every season! It will be 50/50 before you know it! I've never known a club to hold its fans in such disdain as LFC

Just occurred to me, that money that clubs got for away games that was giving us £2 or £4 off away tickets, do the clubs still get that now? I assume we won't be getting it off our £30 tickets so is there a different initiative?

I've noticed that block of empty seats in the away end at Burnley.

I wonder why they leave it empty?

I'm coming from the states and will be in London when the play Tottenham. With having no away credits, is there any shot of getting tickets? I've thought about going through Thomas Cook, but I would prefer to try and get better tickets. Would matchday touting be my best option?

No the £30 cap replaces it but some clubs are continuing it with their own money.  Off the top of my head, Arsenal and Swansea are still subsidising the away tickets (so their fans will be paying £28 for aways).  Stoke are continuing with providing their fans with free coach travel to aways.

And some sponsors are providing free travel too - like Southampton. Would be nice if ours did something! ::) But why would they?!  :-\ (Might be just the odd game but it's a start)

I'd like it if we started providing free transport to our home matches, we could have specials from London.  Put on late trains so we can all get back after midweek matches as well.

That would be nice - I'd even take a train later than 7.48 on Saturday so we can get back from 5.30 KOs!

It'd be good if they included subsidised rail tickets with the hospitality and Thomas Cook match breaks.  If I've paid to come from London for a 3 course dinner, they should at least make sure I can get home OK.

thanks for the advice!

If you were thinking of getting Thomas Cook tickets I assume you don't mind sitting with the Spurs supporters (unless if that's what you meant by better tickets).

If you don't mind sitting with them you might be best to get a Spurs hospitality ticket as I assume you've already paid for a hotel.

It's £299+VAT (I assume that's cheaper than Thomas Cook)

http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/uploadedFiles/Shared_Assets/Documents/Hospitality/Members_area/Bill%20Nicholson%20Suite%20-%20Matchday%20Hospitality%202016-2017.pdf

You might be lucky on the exchange here but Spurs are doing building works and have reduced our allocation, so tickets for the away end will be scarce (after people have sorted out mates, people on here they already know, people on the trusted thread, etc, etc.)

Sweet, this actually might the way to go... The PDF doesn't mention anything about where the tickets will be. Do you have any idea where my seat would be?

We got 1200 for Bournemouth last season didn't we?
Can't see that effect the fact that it will still sell out on 19 tho.

Why not? That's roughly what we normally get, and we'd be entitled to 3000.
