Loved the Nelinho era but the Brazilian lads have become very erratic lately. Wellyton was a particular low point, but Kleberson, Hulk and Wagner Love were pretty shabby.

Always loved the former Aberdeen player Hicham Zeroali, who got special permission from the SFA to wear the number zero on his shirt.

He sadly died in a car crash in 2004.

That guy belongs to the entirely separate category of one-syllable-one-syllable names which must always be said in full: Ruel Fox, Dirk Kuyt, Mark Bright, etc.

I've never understood why Schweinsteiger isn't a funny name in German. Schwein means pig and steiger comes from steigen - to climb or mount.

He's basically called pig mounter, yet no German finds that funny.

Anyway, best names - we've had loads of them Shanks, KK, Toshack, a winger called Heighway, Hansen, Souness, Dalglish.

Current team, Virgil van Dyke, Alisson's middle name, Sadio, TAA, Fab!
