Will probably have to get a liverpool membership mate, as from what i've read on here, quite a few think it'll drop to all members with no previous away credits so if you get one of those, providing you dont already, then you might be in with a shot!

Ok, thanks a lot, hopefully we'll see you in Udine.  :)

Ok, thanks a lot, hopefully we'll see you in Udine.  :)

Just to add to the comment above, you will need to buy a membership for each ticket that you want to buy. So if there is 4 of you, you will all need to buy a membership (£30 each) to be eligible to buy a ticket....you will not be able to buy 4 tickets on one membership card for example.

Hope that helps & see you in Udine  :wave
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

I phoned TC this afternoon for some info regarding certainty of this going and they would not commit either way, just said they would leave it till middle of November before decision.

Well its going to go down to all ST holders so booking with TC isnt an issue for tickets, when i rang them early last week she said there about 67 names already booked on and a few more have obviously booked since and with me booking a few lads on next week think it will go ahead like.

Hmm.. A lovely lady at TC told me the same 3 days before they announced they weren't doing a trip to Bern !  Think Udinese will be ok though , I reckon there will be a surge in bookings over the next couple of weeks.   I see the Moscow trip is sold out so they must have plenty in the bank to ensure a Udinese trip goes ahead.

There Moscow trip is only a handful of people as they bought a small amount of seats for schedule flight from Manchester via Zurich with Swiss air. All TC have had to do is sort out a coach for there own transfers

Yeah I have....only £8 each way on rail europe. I thought the tickets were for a specific time for the thursday and Friday but as it happens they are for anytime from venice to udine on those days.
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

Ahhhh fuck! Just realised im flying into 'treviso venice' (which as it turns out is nowhere fucking near venice) and I have booked the train tickets from venice. God damn Ryanair saying im flying to Venice!!

It'd be much easier to get the train from treviso to udine instead... :butt :butt

Just gonna pay for the train from Venice to Udine on the day I think.  Haven't even got a hotel boxed yet.

What are the chances of making the 22.07 from Udine back to Venice after the game??

Haven't got a clue how far the ground is from the station?

The ground is about 15 mins taxi from the station.

The game is at 7pm....assuming you leave bang on 9:45 (and the match may not be finished)....it will still be a real push to get to the station for then

We'll prob get kept behind as well won't we.  Think we'l either ask the stewards can we get off before they lock us in or just get a minibus hired.

Nice one for that anyway.

sussing out the trains from venice to udine............it seems that 8.95 euros is the standard price and can be bought on the day from a machine at the station as these are regular commuter trains

sorry 8.95 from treviso and 9.95 from Mestre(venice)

Anybody got any idea of how much the match ticket might cost?
Also, do you think the prices on the rail Europe site will be much cheaper than when we buy them on the day at the station?
thanks

It looks like there are two train station options. 1, Venice Mestre or 2, Santa Lucia station. We are using Santa Lucia which is the central one in Venice. Bus for 5 euros (ACTV is a local service every 15 mins or ATVO is a direct no stop) from Marco Polo airport to Venice Piazzale Roma (the bus station in Venice) takes about 25 mins then a walk (hopefully some ale houses on route) to Santa Lucia railway station. 8 euros train to Udine, there's 2 trains every hour, & just gonna get tickets on the day. Got this info from the following link.                                     www.venice-airport.info/transportation.html

Ta for that.

We're flying to Marco Polo and will get the bus to Venice Piazzale Roma.  Then a short walk to our hotel right next to Santa Lucia station.

Train to Udine sometime in the afternoon.

Defo gonna have to get that 22:07 back to Venice after the game.  Fying home at 11 Friday morning.

would have thought there will be details either late this week or early the following week...came on sale 3 weeks before the trips to anzhi and young boys.

The sale will most likely drop to all memebers but priority will probably be given to those who went to the two games so far. The anzhi sale had priority for those who went to bern so wouldn't have thought the udinese sale will be any different.
