West Brom had 63% possesion against Everton.  :o
Manchester United could win fifty titles, but they will always be the Rolling Stones of football. Good, just not quite that band from Liverpool.

You should literally be skinned for such a fucking daft answer :o

So every game played today had at least two goals scored. First up tomorrow: Goal-shy Liverpool and cleansheet Arsenal.

Who's comentating on this West Ham game?  Is it Johnathon Pierce?

What a dickhead.

Talk about want to rub Liverpools nose in it.

For anyone who watched the match at mid day, Carroll had a decent game, but nothing out of the ordinary.

According to this dick, it's Carroll this Carroll that, Carroll solves global warming, and world peace all in one.

Do you get the impression they want him to score a hat full and get man of the match every week, just to rub our noses in it.

Tit.

as well as he did today, what on earth possessed us to buy a player with Carroll's attributes?

What does Shearer actually get paid to do? He just seems to narrate the highlights. "He can actually put the ball in there.. but nope.. he chooses the other option.. hits the shot.. good save".

Time, we were desperate for a striker. I presume we decided to buy experienced because of the urgency and Carroll had scored 15 goals up to that point I think.

Carroll had Hangeland all over the shop in that match. Fair play to the lad but we just aren't a long ball team.

Could have worked it easily - but we could have this argument forever of course.

indeed. the crazyness of having to make decisions in the last few hours of the transfer window. luckily we learned our lesson on that in Jan 2011....

According to Shearer, West Ham don't play long ball football, yet the five clips they showed of Carroll after the game,.... were.... erm.....all of Carroll heading and flicking the ball on.

Erm.... OK Alan.

Andy will do really well there, made for a Sam Alladyce team. Looks like he played ok today. They were right on MOTD to be fair to them, it's not just about long hoofs up the pitch but getting men around him running past him. We didn't manage to do that last year.

Right, I'm confused.

For handball to be a penalty, there has to be intent, right?   or otherwise it's ball to hand.

If the ref gives a penalty, then he's deeming it deliberate. So why has he given a pen against Huth, yet not shown any kind of card, but just given a pen?

Deliberate hand ball is a yellow card offence, at least, right?
