I heard the actual breaking noise of their hearts and my own felt all warm and shit.

Not the manner though. 2 goals in injury time.

If i couldve picked how they lost it today there isnt anything that couldve topped it

I see your scenario and raise you: a 96th minute Rooney og to lose the title.

I feel miserable. I want Liverpool to be the team winning the league title from the jaws of defeat and stopping Utd in the process, not watching another team do that for us.
yeah these kind of days are always a bit bitter-sweet.
we'll have our hands on that thing someday.

Saw that Ferguson apparently congratulated City in his post-match interview whilst browsing that redcafe thread. Fair play.

Imagine being a City fan now. Jesus.
Yeah mate, I was thinking the same, they must be fucking elated. Its a momentous occasion for them.

Congratulations Man City, well done for knocking those fuckers off their perch - but still, fuck you all. Fuck City and fuck Utd.

So jealous watching them lift that trophy.
Tomorrow, the realization will kick in that these guys are going to be ridiculously hard to top over the next decade or so. Right now, I'm happy for them but we have a mountain to climb.

Yes he did and fair play to him.

However with every good deed comes a bad and he did say they needed QPR down to 10 men and 5 mins injury time to do it.
If he retires I'll eat my fucking cock.

Great anti climax for those expecting jizzihno....

Depressing that I'll be an old man or dead before we see us lifting that trophy.

I've already accepted I'll never see another one.

Man City already being so far ahead, and also having an endless pot of money...I just can't see it in my lifetime.

That was unfuckingbelievable, never seen an end to a season quite like that. Glad for them, they deserved it. Thought they'd fucked it up but absolutely pissed myself when they got the winner, had to flick over to the 'utd' channel to see the news filter through - it's smalltime, i know, but it was fucking hilarious  :lmao
Losing your only chance of silverware this season to your city rival. At home. With the most expensive squad ever assembled.

Really don't want to get into a pissing contest but in 1989 the season was over because of Hillsborough. We'd beaten Everton in the Cup Final and went into the game on course for the double. Last game of the season between the top two, last minute, and Michael Thomas wins the league for Arsenal with the last kick of the game.

Of course it wasn't on Sky so it doesn't count.

Kinda irrelevant when the goal came 3 and a half minutes in. Fuck knows if we will ever watch an LFC captain lift it. We can only hope.
