The longer Chelsea don't score the crowd will start to get on their back, although they are looking dangerous and it seems an open game already.

Need a Chelsea draw to be honest. If they lose AVB could be sacked and they could get someone decent (Rafa :butt) in there. We need them to hold on to AVB until the end of the season. I genuinely think it's between us and them for forth spot. Arsenal are in freefall and i think they will finish 6th.
Let's not forget Newcastle yet. They are probably playing better than anyone at the moment.

"People say Lampard's lost a yard, and I don't know what they're on about."

He was played in clear on goal with an inch-perfect pass but Jellylegs ends up about a yard short of latching on and scoring.

Yeah, I also wonder how people can be so stupid.

Papiss Cisse is a massive signing for Newcastle, what a brilliant front pairing they have now.

Similiarly Pogrebnyak at Fulham has gone under the radar a bit, he's a brilliant goalscorer and was a very shrewd signing by Jol, he'll end up
with more goals than Zamora at QPR come season end I'm betting.

39 points to play for.

Sounds good, there were many points to play for which we blew on draws though. It seems far away by now.

Not surprised with Newcastle winning any more; Ba, Cisse, Tiote, Cabaye. Players like Best and Ben Arfa on the bench...quality players.

Newcastle are the form team in the race for fourth.

Ba and Cisse are going to cause most defences a lot of problems this season

Newcastle next few fixtures:

Sunderland home
Arsenal away
Norwich home
West Brom away

;D

I thought the exact same thing this morning.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.
