As much as I admire the idea of supporter owned clubs both in the way that Spain and Germany do it, Barcelona is the prime example of when it doesn't work. An ever rotating board of directors who are continually thinking about how to be reelected not about the future strength of the club or making hard decisions. The decision to sack Xavi is insane simply because he brought up the harsh realities of their financial situation. You instead bring in Flick who is a good coach, I don't have an issue with him as a potential manager, where it becomes complicated is that he shares an agent with Lewandowski who Xavi was looking to move on, so it looks like to me they have decided to sack Xavi simply because he wanted to move on some of the more expensive elements in his team, and instead the board are thinking about how they can't drop Lewa without replacing him with another expensive piece.
It's a shame that there isn't even one club that feels like something you can root for in Spain among the top clubs (maybe Bilbao?), they all have their issues, I can't support Real for obvious reasons, Atletico has Simeone and a bunch of c*nts, Barcelona, newcomers Girona are really Abu Dhabi, just isn't a lot to admire (maybe Sociedad?)
