Liverpool 1-0 QPR: (Suarez) Latest....
« on: December 6, 2011, 02:09:12 am »
Lets try not to dwell on the Fulham result too long and lets look forward to getting it out of our system with a win against these lot. Colin Wanker isn't the exactly a friend of the club, however he isn't doing too badly with QPR and they do try and play a bit of football.

Spearing will be out for us, it'll be too soon for Stevie but apart from that and obviously the general Lucas missing, we've got a pretty much full squad.

Come on redmen!

Good side QPR, they'll cause us problems but we should have enough quality to beat them comfortably.

After the game today, I definitely hope KK doesn't elect to start Carroll. He had a piss poor performance no doubt.

                        Suarez
Bellamy                              Downing

                       Hendo
              Adam            Maxi

Enrique     Dagger     Skrtel     Johnson/Kelly

I reckon this starting XI can really cause QPR problems with our pace. Maxi needs to start this game, along with Bellamy who has been in solid form.

please for the love of god beat them. we really need to smash a team to get our confidence back and our goal difference up but ANY WIN WILL DO RIGHT NOW.  i cant see the clubs above us losing points either except chelsea and/or city seeing as they play eachother.  no lucas, gerrard, spearing and maybe suarez (if that giving the finger incident comes to anything):(.  either way it's going to be interesting to see who kenny plays.

Looks like we have got to the point now when Carroll will get criticized no matter how he plays. He had a good game.

Sorry but what game were you watching? I love the guy but he looked a bit lost at times. Hopefully Carroll will come on in the 70th minute or so in this game as I don't think he really deserves to start.

Fulham v Liverpool

The guy gets beaten with a stick no matter how he plays. He held up the ball well and brought players into the game. It was a decent performance, apart from Henderson he was no better or worse than anyone else.

We could play Shelvey in that position. His closing down of opponents is very good.

We don't need a holding Midfielder at home to these anyway. Get Henderson in the middle along with Adam - Get Maxi on the left - Bellamy on the right and Get a bit of Dirk Diggler up front with Suarez.

If we create loads of chances and fail to take them again whilst gaining the big one point I'm supporting fucking City.

Bet you Barton and co dominate our midfield on saturday. Massive blow Spearing getting sent off. Even biger blow that Lucas is injured and Stevies not fit enough yet. We really are lightweight in midfield now. Cant wait for the january transfer window to come round.

Maxi MUST start this game.
Should have started vs Fulham.
It seems Kenny has been scraping the barrel for reasons not to play him.
Times up, get him on the park.

Really worried about our midfield for this one. We look very light there and with Barton and co and a team managed my Warnock you now what you're going to get. The fact that I am hoping and not expecting a win speaks volumes

For the first time since Kenny is back, I am not bothered. This is a very bad sign, cause it could mean I am getting fed up with football in general too. I don't have much to look to at the moment (I really got into football because of Socrates, by the way, and the Golden generation Brasilian football team. Funny that this feeling comes at the end of an era with Socrates' untimely death). I hope it doesn't last long and there would be something to cheer me up footballing wise.

Having been shown to have been detrimental to the team in his actual position (compare the results since Carragher was injured/dropped to when he was playing) your suggestion is to bring him back and play him out of position !!??!!

Flanno, Aurelio, Enrique or Agger are maybe the best choices to play DM. Which is really sad. We can't put Adam or Henderson in a defensive role.
