Massively disrespectful twat or entitled to voice his opinion?

Quote
Nigel has had enough cracks at it. Everybody sees the writing is on the wall," said Sanchez. "He is not doing an exceptional job. It's not happening. It has got worse rather than better.
"Everybody realises it is time for a change."
Sanchez said he would be keen to return to the role should the Irish Football Association decide to sack Worthington.
"I have always said I would like to finish what I started," he told Radio Ulster.
"I would like the opportunity. I would like to return to Northern Ireland in the future."

He's right, but its still incredibly disrespectful, especially since Sanchez is a shite manager too... Nigel Worthington is probably better manager than him - though he is doing a bad job for NI.

No offence intended to any NI citizens but, how good a job can be done with the pool of players available? I thought NI was notoriously the hardest management job in the national game.

What the fuck has Lawrie Sanchez managed to achieve with them that Worthington hasn't?

And yeah, don't stab someone in the back then throw your hat in the ring in the same interview.

He's basically increasing the pressure on Worthington to get a shot at the job. Having said that, Worthington has been pretty poor in the role, and Sanchez did a decent enough job last time. I saw Sanchez on Sky a few weeks ago saying about how teams should look to play lesser teams in friendly matches in order to beat them, move up the rankings and therefore be placed in a better pot for qualification draws. It seems like he understands international football. Having said that, speaking about wanting another man's job is pretty poor.

The phrase 'you can't polish a turd' comes to mind. Especially now they're also losing players to the Republic. He's fighting a losing battle. You could merge the qualities of Bill Shankly, Rinus Michels, Arrigo Sacchi and Helenio Herrera to form some sort of SuperManager and they'd still have results like they did last night.

There is a few decent players there to be fair. Brunt,mcCourt,Sean Davis,Johnny Evans. Young full back from Crystal Palace is decent and Niall mcGinn who is on loan at Brentford is equally as good. They just seem to be very inconsistent. Unlucky twice recently against Serbia, Drew with Slovenia, yet inbetween those results there's a 5 nil hammering by us and then a 3 nil defeat by Scotland. Strange.

This man thinks he's a lot greater than he actually is. Can't stand him.

Owes his managerial career to Telextext the jammy bastard! Did a decent job with NI but then failed miserably at Fulham. Seems to have a high opinion of himself and takes himself far too seriously.

Heard his comments.
Hardly think he is in any sort of position of authority to be passing jusgement on Worthington's performance.
For a country the size of NI, I don't know what more they could expect.
I got the Lucas thing wrong. Will be right on Henderson though. Play him RM, play him CM - Not good enough and never will be.

Would like Sanchez back as NI boss. Did a good job for us, got us playing decent football and we managed to beat England, Spain, Sweden etc. For a country that's a good achievement. Worthington's tactics are too defensive for me, would like to see us attack teams more. Also I think we have a quite good team when everyone's fit.

Haha, I know, Healy's not great these days is he? Still, was a very good player for us a few years ago. And I know it could be disasterous, but at home I think we should be going out to beat teams, rather than just trying not to concede. I think fans just want the team to play with a bit more confidence and ambition. There's also not much chance of us attracting anyone outside of the likes of Sanchez and Magilton.

You're obviously not familiar with the workings of the IFA.

If Sanchez was so keen to finish the NI job he started, he shouldn't have pissed off to fulham. Very disrespectful for slating another manager with the sole purpose of getting him sacked so he can take his job.

Have never liked Sanchez and these comments, even though the it's probably true that Worthingtons's time is coming to an end sum him up in my opinion.  A small time twat.

NI have a very average squad of players to choose from and they can occasionally raise their game in the same way smaller teams do in the FA cup and some fans have got carried away with this.  The expectation at times is ridiculous.  I hope Sanchez never gets reappointed but I fear he will.

I think we should be doing better than we are doing.  I dont want sanchez back as he said he would last out the campaign regardless of Fulham.  As soon as a bit of pressure came from Al Fayed he just ditched us.  We should be doing better, Nigel unfortunately cant get performances from our big players like Brunt, Healy, Lafferty.  That said I hate international weeks, come down from buzz of our games.

Totally disagree we were in an absolute pish group if we had have went for it instead of being negative in most games we could have got 2nd place, the current pool of players we have is as good as we have had in a long time.It was summed up for me last friday night at Windsor Park when Jonny Evans deliberately got a yellow card so he didnt have to travel to Estonia,a lot of the players dont want to play for him.

Just typical of the man, yes of course people are entitled to their opinions, but when it is clearly just a pitch at getting the job back, well it just confirms his standing as a no-mark little weasel. I remember all the shite he came out with about Rafa, as if he could even be considered to stand in the same room as that man!

So i have to think he is a twat!

And i've still never forgiven him for '88 so I'm probably a wee bit biased too! :(

Indeed mate. He's a self-obsessed egotistical tosser (Phil Brown like)who has done very little in the game as a manager and he seems to think
he has the right to slag off others despite Worthington being a fellow countrymen and ex-teammate of his, very low imo.
