I did, and I just don't understand how ANYONE can take anything from that match other than positives. There's fuck all to worry about at this stage. It's truly cringeworthy.

I agree with him saying Poulsen doesn't have a future here, because we've said that since early last season. He just isn't good enough. But Aquliani did absolutely fine, as did Poulsen in fairness. The difference being that one of them could definitely aid our cause this season and the other is a passenger.

Glad we won the game and had a decent little test as well. 4-3 makes it more fun for the fans that attended I suppose.

I didn't bother watching it in the end, but kept up with the score. Nice that Carroll got a goal.

Fitness improved, players sharpened, onwards with the rest of pre season.

That's what I don't get about people criticising the performance. It was our 1st pre-season game, we used 2 completely different teams, and had 7 of our first team unavailable.

What do some people want?

Just treat it for what it is, a fitness exercise to prepare for the important games to come, and get a bit of team bonding going.

Enjoyed that... my withdrawel symptoms had been kicking in and that was just what i needed.

Bottom line - it was a run out for the lads having only been back together for what 10 days? no injuries, onto the next preseason game.

These games are all about gathering fitness, was nice to see 4 go in mind you.

Definitely. There's no need for a massive dissection of these types of games. Overall, we boost fitness levels, earn a bit of money, the locals are entertained and get to try a few youngsters out.
