Trivial thing, but it completely escapes me right now. Haven't numbers been decided more or less when a transfer goes through in the past? Just curious as to why Henderson hasn't gotten one yet and no indication for Adam.

Might just be that they're going to get numbers already in use and would be kinda pointless giving them before the others are shipped out.

as certain teams will probably pack midfield play one attacker so Lucas may not be required as a shield to a backline. All about options and we just added to our passing ability from our own half so a good plus I think.

No way Adam could do as good a job as Lucas when it comes to breaking up play or shielding the back four.

Don't think it will take him long to win people over, it might take the team two years to reach it's potential but I think we wont have to wait long before he produces the goods.

Very excited by his signing, a guy who can really help us get through the park the bus teams.

I flat out refuse to believe that. We would have had to pay way more than 7mill for them to take Konchesky off our hands. Well either that or Commoli is a miracle man

That would be good. Wilson gets more playing time, Konchesky is off our wage bill. Given Blackpool's defensive flaws last season, Wilson would get a lot of experience and a chance to regain confidence. In re: to Konchesky I've read conflicting things about his wage demands to the point that they were putting off Wolves. That said, he's a Championship standard player who has little value for us. We probably would have been lucky to get anything for him.

Im really happy about this signing even if the saga went on forever

, but i don't think people should be worrying about the fact that Adam coming in may mean Aquilani or Meireles leaving, just think about how much options we will have with all 3 of them here .. definitely looking forward to some corners from Adam, all three offer us different things and there is nothing bad about the fact we would be able to rotate players , something we have been severely lacking for a while now.

How we're gonna make Aquaman, our player of the year, the PFA Fans Player of the Year, a new signing rated at 16 million pounds, the best English midfielder of his generation and this lad fit in to one midfield? I mean, those are six quality players while we're screaming for some out wide. Really, if it hadn't been The King's decision I'd have a laugh on it, but let's give it a chance.
