It's a HBO show, they're always weekly releases.

It's still very good, but not sure if 8 episodes of Barry behind bars is going to be as compelling, no matter how much he can internalise his PTSD into childhood fantasies.

I did love Fuches attempts to entrap Barry while wearing the wire. 'Do you remember killing that guy in Rochester? Tell me about that'
It's pretty much on a par with Homer wearing his giant hat asking Apu 'So, tell me about the crimes. You know, the crimes?'

The first reveal of Noho Hank's outfit in the restaurant is a total joy, though.

The first 3 episodes of Mrs Davis dropped yesterday on Peacock a comedy/drama by the look of things a nun? trying to stop AI taking over the world..... maybe just going by the trailer

Dead Ringers is fantastic and Rachel Weisz is a force of nature. The basic premise of Cronenberg's film is there, but they've built upon it and tweaked in fresh, original ways. Possibly not one to watch with the kids or when the parents are visiting. It earns it's disclaimer.

Having a double bill tonight watching an episode of Mrs Davis its a total headfuck not sure if it's good or not it just get stranger and stranger but will keep watching it ...... Followed by a episode of the new Netflix show The diplomat which I'm enjoying

Mrs has watched Diplomat and she's liked it as well. From brief bits I've seen doesn't look bad.

I'm 3 eps into The Diplomat and really enjoying it. I thought it was a UK show until I realised there is another show from earlier this year on the BBC.

Couldn't find a thread on it but after loving season one I'm finding Yellowjackets season 2 very underwhelming so far. Been a bit too much treading water and filler subplots for my liking.

Tense stuff and so far - very good. Also, Mogwai with the music! That was a nice bonus.

I just watched the first season and thought it felt the same, first half was largely good bits interspersed with the stuff I don't really care about, then the second half picked up the pace and was much better.

Might hold off on the second season until it's all out if it's going back to meandering again.

Fantastic show. Still has one of the most gruesome scenes I've ever watched on TV. Written by Stefano Sollima from Gommorah.

I started season 4 but I've decided to re-watch the first 3 seasons again as I've forgotten a lot of what had happened. Really funny show but fairly violent too.

It really does get a bit dark in later seasons when you see the impact of his actions on the people around him

Agree with this. There were always a decent underlying drama, but those shifted from comedy to straight up - and not so very good, drama..

The Diplomat, Alibi version not netflix, is pretty decent.

Its not blowing anyone away, but its an easy to watch and enjoyable crime drama, with one crime the story throughout
but with each episode also introducing new crimes solved in one episode

Did all 6 episodes in 3 days.

The Diplomat has been renewed for a 2nd season they had to with that cliffhanger and Sweet Tooth has been renewed for a final 3rd series that was quick seeing the 2nd series was only released last week must be getting good numbers

What a fucking show. Just amazing. Everything about it was so bleak yet beautifully shot by Hader (with obvious Wes Anderson influences) and brilliant acting. Give Antony Carrigan an Emmy already.
