Quick question about Pepe and penalties. He has a good reputation for saving penalties but I can't remember when he last saved one. Anyone know? Not knocking him btw!

Payback for Cesc catching Gerrard's freekick last season when we also should have had a penalty.

Alan Smith being ridiculously level-headed in post match commentary. Fair play to him.

Did Dirk hit the crossbar from the centre circle after the Arsenal goal or did I imagine it?

I think scheznsy (spelling?) saved it above his head dont think it hit the crossbar

Great determination by the team. Superb work by Flanagan and Robinson under difficult circumstances whilst Lucas and Spearing played brilliantly.

Gotta love Kenny's interviews :)

Quite brilliant. Kenny's insistence on a British core is paying dividends so quickly.

You wonder why I'm not happy that it looks as if the Mancs are going to go in front of us in league titles for the first time in our history?

I look at the big picture, not one game.

I wonder about people like YOU who can't see beyond your own noses.

I'll be depressed when the Mancs have title 19.

My what a hero you must be. I want Liverpool to win every game they play, because it affects our history. I can't be bothering about the history of other football clubs, that's not my business.

Looking at the beginning of the season is where I'd say we lost it. (completely)

Well done lads, especially the youngsters, who for the most part had good games and would have learnt a great deal.

Get well soon Jamie.

Fuck the title race. That's Arsenal and Man Utd's problem.

I was made up when we equalised. Still buzzing. Couldn't give a toss how it affects other teams.

From a morale point of view it's invaluable for us.

How anyone can come off the end of that and come in bitching and moaning about gifting the title to United is absolutely beyond me.

Up there with the very best single moments in a long time that.  So deserved, so so so deserved and it meant the world to the lads.

Fucking boss!

Hang on a second, maybe we should all calm down and feel slightly depressed because a team that isn't Liverpool benefited from todays results.

Oh, the shame i feel about our players fighting to the end, shame on you Lucas beiing fouled in the box while trying to save the game, shame on your nerves of steel Dirk slotting away the penalty.  Didn't you realise by scoring you were upsetting some of our fans who are more interested in the Mancs not winning Number 19.

C'MON THE POOL.  Feeling good about MY team scoring a last minutes penalty, who cares about those lot down the road....

That was the funniest end to a game I think I've ever seen.  2 penalties 8-10 mins into extra time.  Dalglish telling Winger to fvck off at the end was hilarious.  Can't wait for Wenger's predictably bitter interview.  It's a bitter sweet end though as we have probably guaranteed the Mancs the title with that.

No way did we hand United the title. Arsenal have done plenty to ensure that themselves. Spineless is what they are. And anyone who says Arsenal play like Barca, they don't. They can pass it around all day but they barely creat any chances. They had 6 on target we had 5. And alot of them were from set pieces.

And the Mancs get two titles out of it. Wonderful, get the Champagne going.  ::)

If that lot can't beat us at home with about the weakest back four we can field, they were never going to edge out the Mancs.

Wenger is such a bad loser. Considering he hasn't won anything for a while he should shut up

Everyone else considers it a penalty even Arsenal fans, so to give it the old 'not a penalty' comments is a farce

Shame that we have given the mancs the title (and probably lost touch with Spurs ourselves) but so many positives from that.

Robinson - take a fucking bow lad, awesome game
Flanagan - two great performances back-to-back against teams currently in the top four
Lucas and Spearing - hearts of lions
Dirk - as mentioned above, balls of steel

Solid defensive performance in what has been a bogey ground for us. An awful lot to be proud of and a cause for much optimism going forward.
