In my opinion there is no way a manager will be left in charge for another 5 months if the decision has been made to get rid of him. NESV keep their powder dry until they need to speak, this is what they did during the takeover. As we speculated on here about who was looking at the books they worked away in the background and went public when it became clear that an epic swindle was required to seal the deal. There is panic on here now as it seems they are starting the search now, I find this hard to believe, they will have identified candidates and will embark on speaking to them.
If they agree terms with their chosen candidate we will see a new man in charge and this could be sooner than we think. They have not shown us anything to suggest they don't know what they are doing we should let them get their man. If they feel it is going to take longer, ie release from another club, then Roy will be gone and we will have to appoint a caretaker. They won't leave him to float along. Regarding the twitter and petitions, well I feel they are wrong for Liverpool fans. We laugh at the Barca hankies and Newcastle carry on, yet we are as bad by doing this.
Let them do their job, we will only hear what they want us to, but they deserve the chance to make their biggest decision of their tenure. Sure it is hard to watch what is going on, we all seen a grown man cry the other night on the telly, but that is precisely why they will also know what is happening and will be doing all in their power to ensure it doesn't happen again.
