Really sad that it has come to this. However, as well written and well intentioned as this letter is, it is my belief that Roy will be sacked on the basis of results and nothing else. If we lose against Bolton and Blackburn, I think he will be gone. However, if he gets results against these two, the fans fervor and the media fervor will die down until the next round of shoddy results which, to be fair, won't take that long to arrive.

Not to be pedantic

, but there's no infinitive in that sentence, only a subject pronoun ("I"), main verb in an active form ("wait"), and adverb ("patiently"). You could argue it wasn't proper to start the sentence with "And," but it's fine to split the verb and adverb. ". . . And patiently, I wait" is fine (should have a comma).

JWH & TW - how long are you prepared to wait? You might be thinking let's leave it a couple more games and hope that it all dies down but are you aware that after those 2 games we might be in the bottom3 again? In the bottom3 with some players who don't have the stomach for a relegation dogfight.

Also surely if you are thinking of a change now would better as the new man can get involved with DC about who he'd like to bring to them club than leaving it a couple weeks more and thus giving him less time to assess the playing squad and finding the necessary solutions.

I've never thought or felt like this about anyone connected with LFC let alone said it out loud but Roy - you are walking alone!
