Absoloutely rubbish performance, only highlights were Lucas and Ngog who both IMO had a decent game.

Torres looks like he expects everyone else to do the work for him so he can get the glory,
Gerrard looks like he really can't be bothered anymore and expects everyone to do the work for him,
Meirelles had a shocker on the right BUT he shouldn't have been playing there anyway, once Meirelles was moved into the centre with Lucas and Gerrard pushed out right, we started controlling the midfield, ONLY for Meirelles to be put back on the fucking right! Why? it was working, why change it!?

Soto made some decent tackles and was our star defender, Konchesky just doesn't want to get forward, Johnson tries to many fancy, split second passes, Kuyt worked hard but just didn't want to pass forward and take the initiative and Reina was completely off his game tonight IMO, there's definately something on his mind this season as he's been making mistakes in almost every game.

Hodgson needs to go, it was there, plain to see (and hear) from the stands today that he isn't wanted.

lfctv's crawling with clowns at this time of day

Only because they let through the callers that don't slate the manager.

Not good for the official tv channel to be slagging the manager when he's being supported by the board.

That formation was asking for trouble.

Kuyt on the left, Raul on the right is bizzare. Ngog and Torres don't work together up from. He brings Joe Cole on in centre midfield!! It's shocking management.

Two centre halfs were terrible. They should have been bringing the ball forward, stepping into midfield to break up the man to man marking. Instead they launch it to target man Torres.

Roy needs to go now. He knows it's over. You could see it in his face. He's potted tonight or tomorrow I'm certain of it.

tonight was crying out for an agger type player to bring the ball out from the back

There is no difference in our away form to our home form apart from the fact teams that press us get results. Stoke, wigan, blackpool, wolves and others press up and we are scared shitless and our confidence is shot due to the that man in charge. We only look good when teams let us play, if he doesnt go now i wont be watching another game till the end of reign becuase i dont think i can take it anymore. Everytime i see a performance like that i feel physically sick.

Btw anyone know what is being said on this is anfield at the moment, i heard roy evans is tearing into him, what is he saying?

I reckon NESV want to just get this season over with so they can start a fresh next season. Things will change in the summer but it all needs to start with the sacking of Roy then a public blasting to the squad for playing so shite and not playing to their potentials.

True, but did anyone think it'd turn out this bad? Losses to Blackpool, Northampton and Wolves at home? Un-forgiveable.
Yip- that's the excuse those "Rafa-out" fools will be using now.

FS said it loud and clear last season. There was even a thread about how the Benitez-era will look like a golden age 6 months from May onwards. Some of us braced ourselves for the worst.

Well, this is not even where I originally envisioned us to be(well- I still saw no end to H&G then, but still...). To get where I thought we'd be- we'd have to go down a bit more... Still- this unacceptable, but what did we expect? The fucking c*nt! has done all he can possibly do- and that's to take us down into hell and he's determined to let us rot there.

In the midts of this, these clueless whoppers are slating the players!? The players!?
"Some listen to understand. Others listen to respond."
"A fool does not delight in understanding, but only in revealing his own mind."
In such a sumptuous festival of shite, I wouldn't be so quick to pick a winner..

But he'd make the shortlist

If our next display resembles today's, I can see NESV sacking him.

If they have any foresight and ability to think strategically, they'll do it tomorrow. I hope the moment they came they've been waiting for an opportunity like this.

In no way can it ever be said that Roy Hodgson is good enough for Liverpool Football Club.

Is Sam Allardyce good enough for us? Alan Curbishly? Steve McLaren? Martin O'Neill? No, they're fucking well not - so why oh why was Roy Hodgson?

It just boggles my mind.

The manner o defeat, the defeat itself, and the misuse of players aren't a new thing, and was half-expected by many.

The comments were guaranteed from him.

It's the shoving out wide of Meireless, our clearly superior centre midfielder, out right to give King Stevie his throne back, and shoehorning Kuyt out left that was the specific sore point for this game. I'm sure the next game will bring another present.

That and using all three subs when we knew clearly that Stevie was only returning from injury. Sure enough Stevie runs out of gas / has the muscle tighten up around the 80 minute mark, and manfully trudges on for the last 10.

Anyway, it's like stoning a corpse. We all know he's shit. Please, just do one.

Fucking depressing.

ANYTHING else would be a suprise at any other club in professional football.
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

tonight was crying out for an agger type player to bring the ball out from the back

Even he would have found it difficult, Wolves were pressing that high up the pitch and not giving a chance to dwell on the ball, hence all the back-passes. Agger would have been better, but it still would have needed another 4 or 5 players around him actually looking for the ball who weren't afraid to take more than 2 touches.

None of our players wanted the ball.

Feel really sorry for those who paid their hard earned money to watch this match. Absolute rubbish from start to finish.

Very silly but unsuprising of Sky to try and pin it on Rafa. Roy has had 6 months, so he must take full responsiblity - whether you he signed these players or not Roy, they are YOUR responsibility now - get that in your thick head.

They way the players look totally unmotivated, that is his fault since its his job to gel them as a unit and motivate them. Also, why break up the promising midfield of Lucas, Meirles and Maxi? That shows his stupidity if Im honest. And Torres and Ngog do not work as a strike force - thats where Gerrard should be with teh other 3 plus Kuyt or Cole in midfield.

But that doesnt excuse the shit defending from Srktel and Soto that lead to the goal. Shameful!
Roll up you sleeves and start to dance boys, for happiness is rare in a poor man's life!
