In any case schedules will end up changing for better if only to adapt to the Asian market, something like most games taking place at 3 pm or so. Personally I prefer it like that, the earlier the better.
Don't let it too much early, please, because I still have to work on Sundays  ;)

Anyway I guess they need to do this to start competing with the PL, the PL despite everything wrong in it is way above other European leagues when it comes to marketability.

Even with all those fantastic footballers at his disposal Mourinho still manages to make them completely joyless to watch. There's also the flagrant cheating.
Which just goes to show beauty is in the eye of the beholder, i loved Jose's Inter Milan side and i'm really enjoying this Real Madrid side aswell.

Xabi didn't have his best of games today, which may have been why you didn't find them as entertaining as usual, but the speed they counter at is incredible.

Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but to claim Madrid are joyless to watch when the last 4 league games were absolutely the whole contrary, with lots of action, intensity, chances, one of the most demanding audiences in the world fully convinced and scorelines such as 6-1, 1-4, 6-1 and 1-3, is strange to say the least.

Looked so much worse in normal play as Caceres went flying. Replays showed it was one footed and a little late, yellow at most. Sevilla should win this now.

Never, ever a red card.

Wasn't even a yellow in my opinion. Caceres rolled over a few 100 times before the ref sent off Topal. Ruined the game.

Really don;t understand where the £25-30million price-tag came from

Well they signed him for close to €20m and they'll want a profit on that won't they? He's one of those players like Torres/Drogba where once they go to a bigger club with better players around them he'll improve tenfold.

Still yet to be convinced whether Madrid are a great side talent is their but champions league wise whether they have the mentality to do it in the big games but if anyone can put the embarrassing stat of crashing out in 2nd round of europeon cup every single bloody year its sir jose the genius mourinho!

I can't wait, they'll be so much footballing talent on show. A combined best XI of those two teams would absolutely twat a best XI of the rest of the world.

Pique is such a c*nt, just because you're a footballer doesn't give you the right to throw garbage on the spectators, this type of behaviour is for sure taught to him by Rooney when he was at Man Utd.

Just like his joke when he spilt on the back on one of Spain's directors after the World cup, and the other guy in this video doesn't seem too pleased by it.

Not even close for me. Not by a million miles.

Been shown up repeatedly this season, to the point that Barca supporters are clamouring for another centre-back to be signed and some are even reminiscing fondly of Chygrynskiy - so it must be fucking bad.  :D

Nope, not at all - well, obviously the Chygrynskiy comment was tongue in cheek.

Horror shows against Mallorca, Scotland, Bilbao, Rubin, Hercules - this one incident wasn't terrible but his performance throughout was, Valencia and Copenhagen this season as well as racking up 4 bookings and 1 red in 9 league games.

Feel free to name a centreback who could do a better job, given how Barcelona's full backs play.

I think he's a good fit for Barca, given how the whole team play - not just the full-backs. Their whole modus operandi is a squeezing the life out of games in midfield with a high tempo. Controlling it with ridiculous possession and a high defensive line; which means that - for a defender - Pique doesn't actually have to do a lot of pure defending. When he does, he's found wanting more often than a top class defender should be, for me.

Of course on the ball, bringing it out from the back with a pass or on the dribble, there's nobody better.

Of course on the ball, bringing it out from the back with a pass or on the dribble, there's nobody better.

Any center-back you name, we could go back and find a few videos this season of him being on the wrong end of a score and having a 'horror show'.  I'll tend to go by what I see every game and that's a center-back that despite not being the quickest or most agile is asked to play in an advanced line and does a terrific job of reading the play, anticipates passes and cutting them off using his length, and is not uncomfortable pulling wide and tackling quicker players in counter-attacking situations (which probably accounts for most of the type of plays Barcelona defenders face during games).

I believe it is much easier for a center-back to play in a more balanced team, where most of the defending isn't done backtracking and the player is only responsible for a smaller area of the pitch and the defence is much more organized and set.  I'd like to see some of the defenders we all consider best in the world playing under Barcelona's system.
