GAA Thread 2010
« on: January 17, 2010, 08:33:54 pm »
So a new decade is upon us as we leave behind the noughties and the Cream that was Brian Cody's brilliant Cats with 7 wins in 10 years and Kerry playing their part is almost every All-Ireland Football Final of the decade.

Who will dominate the 10's or will we see the honours shared across the two codes.

Heres to a great year in GAA, i hope.

Waterford, maybe?! We were the only team to beat them in '09.

Very poor decade for Leinster football. Only one all Ireland appearance (us in 2001), and no victories. Perennial no hopers Dublin won Leinster nearly every year, almost unapposed yet didn't come close to a final slot so that shows how bad the opposition was.

The hurling decade belonged to Kilkenny. The current cats team is the greatest team to ever play the game imho. They're a joy to watch.

Tipp will probably be their biggest challangers this season and will take encouragement from their all Ireland appearance. Will be happy if they can give Kilkenny a game again.

Better chance of mother Theresa coming back from the dead and playing full forward for clare than waterford winning anything

Cork probably wont come close to a football one again for another while, last year was their best chance in 10 years and they didnt take it.

Quite a decent decade for Ulster football.

In fairness, there is no basis for that Jeffiner, i reckon we've a decent chance of winning it. The experience of getting to the final despite losing will have done us the world of good in my opinion.

Well you come into a thread that you clearly have no interest in abuse one person and give nothing to the topic, thier is a Cricket thread in here i do not go into it why? Because i do not like the game and have nothing to add to the debate.

Is the statement "inbreds from Tipp" not accusing the people of Tipperary of having irregular sexual preferences? Is this not a form of abuse? Why is he who can't use his keyboard properly not receiving a similar level of unappreciative feedback from your goodself?

What's wrong with teams from Ulster?

I just hate the style of football they play to be honest, and personally I feel they have ruined the game

could get slaughtered for this but Rafa would do great in Ulster football, stop the others at all costs, work your ass off.  Thing is it has been successful so other teams have followed the trend. I just don't like it myself
