Quite frankly, how many managers would want to step in with us anyway?
Mourinho - he had fights at Chelsea for FFS! after spending god knows and he still didn't appreciate Abramovic and didn't get on. God knows what will happen when he signs the contract to manage us and in his first meeting with the owners asks
"How much are you giving me to spend?" and Hicks replies "What do you mean? It's the same with you as it was for Rafa. Why should we give you any extra cash? I've got debt to pay off so make your own money! You can spend the money you make from sales - really I promise. Oh, Oh, maybe, if we don't have any debt repayments that month"
Kenny - been out of the game a long time and quite frankly, don;t know how well he will go. He did suffer a lot from Hillsbrough and I don't see why he'd want to experience the presure cooking environemnt anyway under the current circumstances where the media and fans are producing some of the most cowardly acts I've ever seen against a manager who has given so much. Whether it's Rafa's time to go or not, to insult him and some idiots saying he isn't trying is the ultimate insult to a man who is probably suffering sleepless nights and anxiety 24/7. Rafa care's so much about football and is suffering just like the rest of the us.
O'Neill - quite frankly, if i was him, you'd rather stay at Villa. At least Randy Lerner gives him some cash as he sees fit and doesn't start questioning every bloody signing. Why would he want to come here with Hicks and Gillete. O'Neill's a stubborn man.
HIddink - he likes challenges and most realsitic, but let's face it. Everywhere he goes seems to be short term and I don't see him being here a long time, most probably look to rescue the club but may neglect the youth setup as he is a man who comes, makes an impact and then goes.
Basically, for those who say that we can get any manager is terribly mistaken. What a shit job! No money, no support from anyone, people who are supporting you calling you a dick, sleepless nights. We'll see how the team responds, because when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Whether this team can do this will be seen in the next 6 months. But no doubt, in the next 6 months, we will see 1 of either things. This team struggling even more without Torres and Gerrard and basically collapsing under pressure or the team stepping up to the plate to make an impact in the PL and EL. I just pray that it's the latter.
