It's only tangentially related to gardening, but has anyone fitted their shed out with a solar panel and battery to hold a charge? I was looking at a kit designed to run 2 light bulbs in there, but it's a very basic system and I thought there must be a way to get a USB socket at least for low power devices whilst I'm out there, so thought I'd ask what others may have done.
Anker make a camping product that has a 3 pin plug, USB and a 12V car socket that looks like it has a car battery inside which looks like it would be perfect in a shed for whatever you might need to connect, but it's designed to take input from their own solar panels only with a proprietary connector, and those panels aren't designed to be left outside 24/7 on something like a shed roof.
