Depends how long you're talking.

Mine is at a length now that there isn't a long enough setting on the trimmer, plus it'll take too much off anyway, so I use a good quality pair of hair scissors.

Who's up for this movember thing then? Done it last year and was quite proud of the tache. Was thinking of going the full beard this term (which I've never done) but have a meeting in the US 2nd week of November and by then I'll just look scruffy so may opt out this yr.

Not ashamed to say I bought special beard scissors, makes all the difference for trimming compared to using clippers.

cheers mouth, the missus is qualified with hair and all that but won't go near it, tried myself and failed, paid someone to do it and they bodged it up, going to try and take it past previous attempts and into the unknown!

from start to finish reckon around three months at the first try? had the turkish trim around the end of August and so now currently at the two month stage again which is about the similar to my forth pic?

Had mine for close to 7 months and in my impatience tried to clip the stray hairs (the cheek growers, you know the ones, the stray ones that aim to grow near your eyes) and fluffed it up, the missus tried to save it but the damage was done

Stuck with whether to regrow or just stay with the stubble...

Can't stand beards, unless it's a result of craziness or you're from a country where it's genuinely seen as a sign of manliness.

Mine's pretty substantial now, I'm approx 5 months into growing it. Either need to severely cut it back or go to a proper barber so it looks a bit smarter while I grow it. Honestly can't decide what to do.
