I didn't realise Simon Amstell left?!

Will it just be guest presenters like before then?

aye,

James Corden tonight.

Think the show will miss Amstell but it should have some good writers in.

Agree with you Swift on James Corden, but surely Fielding makes up for that fat unfunny git.
Odds on him getting his belly out for "laughs"?

Why has Simon Amstell left? Found him very funny, loved the way he'd tear into guests, he didn't hold back at all. It's going to be shite :(

Mark Lamarr and his (correct) hatred for Chris Moyles was class, Amstell carried it on with various people, it will be interesting to see how this years "hate figure" is carried over show to show with the different hosts

simons stand up tour was hilarious, had me crying in places.

Hopefully it'll only be one series of guest presenters then a new permanant presenter.

Sadly don't think there will be a 'hate' figure for this series because of the guest presenters, hope I'm wrong on that but still.

It makes up a little. He was great when Bill had the few weeks off. But He played off of Amstell. Will he be able to do that with Corden? He isn't funny so wont act as foil for him.

Hmm.

I have seen more of James Corden than it is humane to show. Sick of the fat useless twat.

Sadly don't think there will be a 'hate' figure for this series because of the guest presenters, hope I'm wrong on that but still.

See above for my own personal hate figure for tonight :D

Last nights show was shit. Corden was nothing on Lamaar or Amstell. It just seemed to drag and felt so scripted. It's trying to be viewer-friendly in the sense that now it's going to be flavour-of-the-month presenters and guests.

Not sure what to think about Fielding as a captain. Only time will tell and I hope that there'll be at least one decent presenter. Frankie Boyle would be an ideal candidate. Would love to see him ripping apart a few of the arseholes they get on there!

Fielding is odd but he does say some random stuff at times that make me laugh. Can't see Frankie going on there to be honest, Rhod Gilbert hosts next week that will be good but I bet the guests are crap like Zippy from rainbow or someone like that.

I agree with you I can't imagine Frankie wanting to go onto another panel show now that he has quit Mock The Week (WHY FRANKIE? WHY?). He would be a good guest but I don't think I'd like him with the shackles of hosting upon him.

Fielding can be very funny and last night's highlight was him recognising the guy in the line up from having accidentally walked into his dressing room backstage. I pissed myself at that.

All in all I can't see that much life left in this show. I never thought they could replace Lamarr but they did. I just don't think they can do it again. Like someone said above, if it's going to be flavour of the month presenters they can get fucked.
