Whitehall tries too hard and attempts quirkyness in his actual delivery, as well as making the kinds of jokes that no one cares about and which he can only get away with on Uni students.

Amstel however cuts deep with minimum fuss and its his jokes against you that would make you want to hit him, rather than him acting in a silly way.

Amstel is like that now, he wasnt always. Whitehall can get better, the channel4 show he did was awful, but he wasnt that bad tonight.
