The difficult part is doing it again now. Forget what we won in the past, we need to look forward now and start planning for the new season.

Great interview with Ablett.  The above quote leaves no doubt as to where he learnt his football.

Did anyone watch dot tv.

Davy Johnson when asked about his thoughts on Plessis

"can't say I've seen al lot of him to be honest but ....."

But what about Nemeth

"haven't seen a great deal of him but..."

What about the season the reserves have had

"have to admit I haven't seen that many games..."

Then why are you here Dave?......

Just watched the highlights - well done to the lads. Looked like the game could have gone either way for a bit, but some quality goals. Well done Gary and the young Reds.

Been trying to put photos that I took of the match on this thread but having a little bit of trouble. If someone can help me out, I'd be very grateful.

In the meantime, I have put them on the www.Flickr.com website in my account.

Use the search function under the subheading 'people' and search for me. My username is chris_kh_poh
Liverpool pictures are currently on pages 2 - 3 but feel free to browse the other photos.
Bill Shankly:

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

In my time at Anfield we always said we had the two best teams on Merseyside, Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves.

HUTH!!!

What a fucking nightmare, serious question marks there lad.

But I was very impressed with El Zhar and Pacheco.  Quick, creative players, they should be knocking on the first team door soon.  Doesn't matter how 'big' you are when you play as a forward IMHO, and they'll only improve by playing games.
