im just after talking to Sarge on facebook, he says this is what happened to him...

He's got a life yet he's a 35 year old man on facebook? Oh the irony.

Is he still opening that bar in the Canaries?

I miss Rizla

so do I... nidgemo too. Never even crossed my mind that they were 'hovering' on a total ban.

I'm not being sarcastic.

Forgot about Nidgemo.  Miss his CL wallpapers.

Not sure Rizla was facing a ban.  Think his was more a case of deciding it was best for him to leave.  Miss him none the less, and thought he was a quite good looking fella too.

i think i said Rizla looked a bit like Robbie Keane, before he joined us.

I do miss Nidgemo, if only for some support in the GAA thread, plus I did like his Michael Owen rants ;D

Ha ha ha.  Rizla did have that look about him thinking about it.  Nothing to be ashamed of.  I must stop now.  LOL.  Mind wandering.

Can't remember Nidgemo's Owen rants to be honest.

Basically any time ANYONE stuck up for Owen, they'd get a page long from Nidge as a reply!! ;D

I think it was the same with the Roy Keane/Ireland issue too...

No, he means he was a c*nt. Allegedly.

His Owen post was class. I think he kept it in a word doc and cut and paste. Has links, a time line, even go faster stripes.

I used to like asking him what had Owen done that was so wrong, just to make him post it. :)

It's from the Irish. "Taim tar eis...." which translates literally as "I'm after...".

I ndiaidh is for being after someone in a queue (or chasing someone), tar eis is for being after in time.

So "thainig Sean, and Maura ina dhiaidh", Sean arrived and after him Maura.

But "Tar eis an bricfeasta, chuamar go dti an cluiche", after breakfast, we went to the match.

If you were honest though, you'd admit that it's not a real language and you just do it for the Yank tourists.

What about in time though? You do say leath i ndiaidh a tri...

Seeing it like that Id literally translate that as, "come the end of breakfast" which does amount to the same thing...
