Review of the Food: Really very good. The food was obviously freshly cooked (Tapas can be a real problem if the stuffs been standing round for ages, but this was excellent). The Paella was nice and spicy, with loads of fish and chicken, and Mrs Elvis loved her fajitas too. The side order of curly fries and aioli was gorgeous too.
Venue:Nice modern room with a large bar to one side. Tables are a bit small, but overall the dining room is a very nice place to be. Also had a good atmosphere-quite busy really for a Monday night at seven o'clock.
Would you go again?: No-see service comments below. Also, there's so many new places to try now, and first impressions count for a lot, so I'd try all the other places first before I risked this one again.

Any known offers of fixed menus?: Yep-there's a meal deal type thingy available before 6.30pm. We didnt get in til after 7, so didnt take much notice of the details. Sorry!
Price Paid: All in just about 50 quid for the food and drinks described above.
Overall score out of 10: 8/10 for the food. 3/10 for the service. Overall it was a 5 I suppose.
Shame really-I wanted to like the place. I'm absolutely made up with the number of new restaurants around Liverpool now, and I want them all to do well and keep improving the food scene round here for years to come. This one has real work to do though.
The service problems centred around the time taken to get the food out, and our crap waitress. It took over 40 mins for the starters to arrive, and another 20 mins or so after we'd finished those for the mains to turn up. I said earlier it was busy for a Monday, and it was. But it wasnt
that busy, and there were loads of staff on. The manager did come over and apologise though.
When the mains did arrive, and Mrs E opened the covered dish with the fajitas in, there was one (very old) rock hard tortilla in there. The waitress obviously hadnt bothered her arse to check first. Cue another delay while they sorted that out.
We had to ask 3 times for a glass of wine, and when we asked for the bill we even had to wait for that! Then the girl forgot the card machine, and we had to wait again.
We were only looking for somewhere for a quick bite to eat as we had 2 hours to kill waiting to pick our daughter up. Normally we find ourselves lingering over 2-3 cups of coffee at the end to kill a bit of time, but we only just finished the meal last night! Dead disappointing.
