Inspired by our friends at liverpoolfc.tv, we are going to run a competition for forum users.

At 11am BST on Friday of this week, I will post a simple question on this forum. The first ten people to reply with the correct answer will win a super-dooper prize :

You will have the chance to see me training. You will be allowed through the house and into the back yard, and be given some old beer crates to sit on. You'll then have a close up look as I jog round the yard once. Maybe even twice if the hacking cough and flying phlegm doesn't kick in.

You'll than have the chance to have a cup of tea (please bring your own teabag) and use the bog before fucking off.

Only the first ten lucky people will get this opportunity. The rest of yers will have to look over the wall from the old railway line. Tough.

Do they teach mathematical/geometrical proofs as part of the National Curriculum these days ? It's a bit like how you prove, logically, that the square on the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides, for example. If you learned maths in a classical education in the 70s, at the end of it you got one extra mark for remembering to write Q.E.D. - Quod Erat Demonstrandum.
