Not quite sure how you get amber snow. Maybe someone was dehydrated?

What a difference today has been!

Warm, sunny and barely a breeze.  I've actually been out in the garden without a coat 🤗

Two days of gales and torrential rain to come then we're starting to see much calmer days with some sunny periods which is amazing, even though themps are still in single figures.

I'm freezing today as well and its about 17c in here - last winter was worse as we kept the heating off for ages every day

It's always worse here when the wind comes from the east as it's straight off the sea with nothing between us as protection.

Yeah it was the wind, it was really colde. They seemed to get everything wrong, we were supposed to get heavy snow today, we got 9c and drizzle

I did think about doing some work in the garden but the compost bin is full and the council won't start collecting green waste until the end of next month so I left it.

I make my own compost so don't need the council bin but I really need some decent weather soon so I can sieve it ready for using.
