We save our difficult draws for the group and knockout stages, its only fair if we get easy qualifying rounds.

Ha hahahaha  Just went there tonight for a meal, whilst on my holiday here in Malta. Their guru, the man with the bucks, has left the club and gone to Valletta FC. Many players are defecting I heard. This doesnt look good for Marsaxlokk. But I wish them well... they are a very small fishing village in the south of Malta, and have done a 'Wimbledon'... but not only joined the top league, but also won it, with the support of their wealthy president. I will be watching out for them. Come on Marsaxlokk!

Did you enjoy it mate? If you like the Maltese beaches you could go to the Blue Lagoon in Comino, the Blue Grotto, Golden Bay, Paradise Bay, Ramla l-Hamra in Gozo, Xlendi, etc etc. I'm not a big fan of Marsaxlokk but I HATE Valletta with a passion. I support Floriana, you might've heard of them, because my Grandad was the first Footballer of the Year when he played for them

Football's all about money these days. That's why Floriana are languishing in the relegation pool, unlike the days when they were the most successful team in the land. A bit like Liverpool but at least Liverpool have been winning trophies of late.

Sevilla, twice UEFA Cup winners and Porto, UEFA Cup and CL winners in the past 5 years, are below Newcastle? Serioulsy, there's got to be something wrong with that ranking system.

What's wrong with the ranking system is that no indicator of the quality of opposition is taken into account. Newcastle get more points for regularly getting to the last 8 or 16 of  UEFA  (something they should easily be able to do) than teams like Celtic or Porto or even PSV do by battling against much tougher teams in the last 16 of the CL.
In UEFA Cup you play extra games to reach the final and the points system is the same as the CL. Sevilla pick up more points for winning UEFA than Milan(in 2007) did by winning the CL.

They are the big ones, although I think Sparta Prague are shit.

Spartak Moscow are the ones I would 'fear' most as they are in the middle of their season, so should be ready.
