"but I tell you, Jerry, at that moment, I was a marine biologist."

this episode kills me every single time. :P

George Costanza: The sea was angry that day, my friends - like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli. I got about fifty feet out and suddenly the great beast appeared before me. I tell you he was ten stories high if he was a foot. As if sensing my presence, he let out a great bellow. I said, "Easy, big fella!" And then, as I watched him struggling, I realized that something was obstructing its breathing. From where I was standing, I could see directly into the eye of the great fish.
Jerry Seinfeld: Mammal.
George Costanza: Whatever.
Cosmo Kramer: Well what did you do next?
George Costanza:: Well then, from out of nowhere, a huge tidal wave lifted me, tossed me like a cork, and I found myself right on top of him - face to face with the blow hole! I could barely see from the waves crashing down upon me but I knew something was there. So I reached my hand in, felt around, and pulled out the obstruction. (Shows them a golf ball)
Cosmo Kramer: Is that a Titleist? (George nods)
Cosmo Kramer: A hole in one, huh?

:lmao god i love this show, and everyone who i make watch it laughs non-top too.

did you just double-dip that chip?

Newman: June 14, 1987, Mets Phillies. We're enjoying a beautiful afternoon in the right field stands when a crucial Hernandez error opens the door to a five run Phillies ninth. Cost the Mets the game.
Kramer: Our day was ruined. There was a lot of people, you know they were waiting by the player's parking lot. Now we're coming down the ramp ... (cuts to a flashback filmed in the same style as the Zapruder film) ... Newman was in front of me. Hernandez was coming toward us, as he passes Newman turns and says, "Nice game pretty boy." Keith continued past us up the ramp.
Newman: Then a second later, something happened that changed us in a deep and profound way from that day forward.
Elaine: What was it?
Kramer: He spit on us... and I screamed out, "I'm hit!"
Newman: Then I turned and the spit ricochet off him and it hit me.
Elaine: Wow, what a story.
Jerry: Unfortunately the immutable laws of physics contradict the whole premise of your account.
Allow me to reconstruct this if I may for Miss Benes as I've heard this story a number of times.
Newman, Kramer, if you'll indulge me.
According to your story Hernandez passes you and starts walking up the ramp.
Then you say you were struck on the right temple.
The spit then proceeds to ricochet off the temple striking Newman between the third and fourth rib.
The spit then came off the rib made a right turn hitting Newman in the right wrist causing him to drop his baseball cap.
The spit then splashed off the wrist, Pauses in mid air mind you...
Makes a left turn, and lands on Newman's left thigh.
That is one magic loogie.

JERRY: Vandelay. Wait a second. Mr. Pennypacker, if you're here, and Mr. Vandelay is also here, then who's watching the factory?

KRAMER: The factory?

JERRY: The Saab factory?

KRAMER: Jerry, that's in Sweden.

The bit where they 'meet' each other at the apartment kills me everytime.
Jerry: "Vandelay."
George: "Varnsen."
Jerry: "Pennypacker"
Kramer: "Varnsen"
Jerry: "Vandelay, Pennypacker.  Pennypacker, Vandelay"
Kramer: "Vandelay."
George: "Pennypacker"

The Yada-Yada was another great episode...

George: Listen to this. Marcy comes up and she tells me her ex-boyfriend was over late last night, and "yada yada yada, I'm really tired today." You don't think she yada yada'd sex.

Elaine: I've yada yada'd sex.

George: Really?

Elaine: Yeah. I met this lawyer, we went out to dinner, I had the lobster bisk, we went back to my place, yada yada yada, I never heard from him again.

George's boss is played by Larry David if you didn't know. I only found out last week. He is a class character indeed. My favorite is the black lawyer, he's truly magnificent!

Larry David also makes quite a few appearances throughout the series, although you don't often see him. He quite frequently is heard on the phone to one of the characters etc. There's an extra on one of the DVD series (maybe series 7?) which shows clips of all his involvments in the show (apart from writing it of course!).

Best one for me is the 'the contest' or the one where they pitch the show to NBC about nothing. Especially love the one where they start filming the pilot and George accuses the actor playing Kramer of stealing the raisins!

Larry does do the voice of Steinbrenner as well.  He only did it because he read the part during script meetings and Jerry though it was funnier than getting someone else in to do a proper impression.
