If we did, I get the feeling Thommo wouldn't get any credit from the media.  If we start losing, the media will bang on out the loud-mouthed Scouser and the folly of now bringing in a big-name replacement, and if we win, they'll say the players "did it for Gerard".  Either way, poor ol' Thommo is in a no win situation...
