Looking for decent archive of the kop
« on: August 7, 2006, 02:25:34 pm »
I'm doing a 15 minute presentation with the subject being the history of the spion kop. Does anyone know where i can get some decent pictures and stuff on this. Am looking for early pics, before/after the roof, pictures of the callapse of the kop, with & without fences/seats etc...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

This book should do: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0954687116/sr=8-1/qid=1154960911/ref=sr_1_1/026-7199841-1275617?ie=UTF8&s=gateway You'd have to scan them though.

Doubt you'd find the sort of images you require on the web.

This book has a section on Anfield. Archibald Leitch was the designer of the original main stand and put in place the footings for the original Kop.

Just to add, this in itself is a fantastic book and is worth buying anyway. :)
