You should revive the Hassinator-thread.

He’d probably recommend a poncho or ceremonial robe
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

I've been waiting for over 6 months for my size to be available for these Diadora's.

I was happy to push the budget out to USD $180 but to find out that shipping to Australia is and additional USD $79 is really going to hurt.

yeah just the stripes on the silver glxy spzl. Only ever attempted to change a pure white sole with candle wax and some type of activator to get that aged look. always worried that the sole would eventually crack If I used paint. I've seen plenty of people change the colour of a sole, no idea what technique they used.

There no major tricks or anything. From what I remember Angelus Do a paint and ask you to add a hardener or something to the paint. It sticks to plastics etc so they basically just paint the sole then or the hard plastics on a lot of trainers Nike do. It’s hard wearing and there’s vids showing how well it sticks

Nice those.  Had a pair of Patrick football boots back around 86/87.

I like the brown but not on Size? website,  are they small fitting like Adidas or do they have some decent room?

I wish Tacchini still did trainers

the Liverpools turned up today, I wouldn't say they are a roomy shoe, little snug around the toe box and the end of the eyestay

great for putting a bit of curl on a casey

What’s happened to Forest Hill’s, can’t seem to find any for sale these days?

adidas original shoes like gazelle, superstar and stan smith are released regular, other styles get a fairly limited run rotated in whenever adidas see fit and either sell out or hit the sales and the retailers move on to whatever adidas are releasing next. ebay or vinted will have them, think the last yellow and gold were released in 2018 and they brought various different c/w's after that.

They got run into the ground with endless JD cheapo releases for a few years and Adidas pulled them.

ADIDAS’ THE BOX SHOES RELEASES APRIL 2024

IMG-1691" border="0

As the calendar flips to April, the anticipation for April Fools' pranks begins to bubble, especially within the sneaker community. This year, adidas is setting the stage for a playful jest that blurs the lines between packaging and product. Dubbed The Box Shoe, adidas is turning heads and sparking conversations with what might be the most literal interpretation of sneaker design yet. This supposed release, introduced via the adidas Confirmed app, catches the eye for its unconventional approach, transforming an ordinary adidas shoebox into a wearable fashion piece.

The Box Shoe challenges conventional footwear design by adopting the form and aesthetics of an adidas sneaker box. This design features a rectangular box structure with a square cut-out for foot entry, mimicking the experience of unboxing a fresh pair of kicks. Chunky laces drape over the box's "tongue," completing the sneaker illusion and inviting wearers to tie them as they would a standard pair of shoes. The shoe, adorned in the classic blue and white color scheme synonymous with adidas packaging, boasts branded details that echo the iconic look of adidas' product boxes.

The adidas The Box Shoe has no specific launch date on the Confirmed App and lists the price as Price Upon Request. The product code, labeled AF0104, hints at an April Fools' Day connection (April Fools 01/04), suggesting that adidas may be engaging in seasonal jest. However, some on social media have received pairs of the “footwear,” meaning a limited number of these “shoes” may be available in the coming days. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for updates on this release and more.
