IF we can't put away chances like that, we deserved to lose! And all credit to Palace in putting away chances when it mattered.

Hope you trash Leeds!

ecmdtan -- I cannot care less with the Cup now since we have lost, I have booked my ticket to the Carribean Sea leaving on Mar 3 and will not be back till August ;)

Well done to Palace -- they must have put some black magic to our strikers.

thanks for all your messages, I throughly enjoyed my first visit to anfield.. up till about 4am this morning when I realised how tired I actually was, I was expecting to wake up and it be wednesday morning.

my feelings were brought back in line after visiting the Hillsborough memorial.

all in all a great day out and I wish we're as sucessful on our next visit(s) to Anfield... I somehow doubt it though  ::)

Definitely congrats to Palace.
And their luck of the whassernames (whatever Francis said).

Good luck against Leeds too.
Hope you destroy them at Selhurst.
Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple - Bill Shankly.

SLJ, i would like to point out a post from you after the 0-0 draw at Palace, in which you were saying a draw at Palace was a good result.

'The circumstances are as follows:

1. Away from home against a decent side.'

So just when did they go from a decent side to a crap side !?!?

Congrats to Palace and the best of luck against Leeds. If your team can play to the same standards as you did in the second half against us. Then i think that youv'e got a great chance of beating Leeds in the 5th round!  ;)#

Anyway Bacon, Stu,Babek and the rest of the screaming eagles what reception that El Tel will be recieving when his team plays your team in the cup?  ;)

Unlucky Palace. You have that half wit referee Dermott Gallagher and an equally talented linesman to blame. Were hoping you'd go thru.

Seem to recall the same ref. was consigned to the Nationwide to officiate not so long ago cos he's crap. Why they let him back I dont know.

No way could the ref give the goal, that was down to his linesman ( who are a waste of time ) but the ball was also handled on the line and he should have seen that.

Bad luck palace.
