Just thought on, play rhymes with Mané, so there has to be a more positive last line in there somewhere.

Don't like it for a few reasons, sorry.

First line doesn't scan, there's no need for a song for the front 4 - particularly using a tune that's so regularly used and we won't always use that front 4.

If you think of songs of this type you might think "best midfield in the world" but that covered rotation by naming all the senior players for those positions.

Also, you might very occasionally get a song to catch on through a forum but more often that's really not where they come from.

HH, the fact you think the first line doesn't scan, although I may have to disagree with you over that point, is of little relevance. This is a song that would hopefully be belted out by 50,000 Liverpool fans around Anfield, and it's not an entry for the National Poetry Competition. Does every Liverpool song scan perfectly? I think not.

And the reason we're currently sat atop the PL is down, in no small part, to the teamwork, work rate, ingenuity and, perhaps more importantly, the goals from these four players, our new attacking unit. So I think they're very much entitled to a song of their own, to show them how much their input so far this season is appreciated by us all. And I believe the fact that they gel so well together as a foursome within the larger team negates your rather fatuous "best midfield in the world" reference.

As for your third point, someone on RAWK has honoured you with the mantle 'Scribe', so please, in future, think before you write.
