So who is fit?
« on: February 25, 2011, 10:17:13 am »
OK, after the first half of the season when we hardly had any injuries, we are really making up for it now.

According to the Official site the following are injured:

Kelly
Aurelio
Gerrard
Agger
Carroll
Shelvey
Johnson

Of these,  Kelly and Johnson don't appear serious, more precautionary.

Also, although it isn't on the official site, the reporter on Radio Mersey mentioned last night that Lucas walked past them limping.

So, if none of the above are able to play the whole match on Sunday, who are we going to play!!!  Centre midfield of Spearing and Poulsen isn't that  appetising is it?

Thankfully Suarez is back, but if Kelly and Johnson fail to recover who can play at fullback, particularly LB, as I know Carra can do RB, although that isn't a hugely appealing thought either.

Without all those listed, we could end up, worst case scenario, with the following players:

                                Reina

Carra           Skrtel           Soto            ???

          Spearing        Poulsen        Maxi

                             Meireles

                Kuyt                       Suarez

Subs
Cole, Jova, Ngog, Pacheco,

That doesn't look very good defensively/midfield wise at all does it?

Rossiter absolutely bossed it tonight. Really believe he'll end up playing more games this season than Lucas.

Henderson won't make it here. Sorry but he won't and won't

Wilson could play LB.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

There is only one ironman Dirk Kuyt ;) Plays every game and enjoys it!

I think the team above should be able to beat West Ham without a shadow of a doubt. It would be perfect for the likes of Spearing to show how much he has improved his play.

One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

Oh yeah, forgot about Wilson, was looking through the subs thinking of the best LB out of Cole/Jova/Ngog!!

From the team you listed, i guess Wilson could fill at left full but i fully expect to see Gerrard, Kelly, Johnson and Agger to be fit for Sunday, Judging by Gerrard hopping around after the goal he looks more than capable of running around Upton park for 90 minutes  ;D
Her beauty is so genuine . . . . . . .  i dare say the epitome of the word and it's definition.

Unspectacular, yet solid. Kuyt's good for a crucial end-of-the-game goal too.

Hopefully it isnt *worst case* as there is no defensive cover on the bench...and only 4 subs ;)

Thanks for letting mew know all the fit girls!!!

I don't think West Ham are that bad, especially at home.  With our injuries and tiredness from the game yesterday, this coul;d be a banana skin.  We need the three points.

Rossiter absolutely bossed it tonight. Really believe he'll end up playing more games this season than Lucas.

I am Jesper Zenk, fit and in top shape. Can play the match for a mere £5k.

Unfortunately they forgot registering me ;D

You dont need to be registered as you are younger than 20 ;)

We'll get by fine, Stevie will be back.
