I’ve still not watched sandman, think I was put off initially cos it looked like loads of cgi and I’m always dubious in tv (esp when it’s not Apple) - is it based on a book?

Episodes 5 and 6 of Sandman are brilliant TV amazing stuff ......in my view of course

Renegade Nell is good fun if you have kids in the 10 - 15 age bracket. Written by Sally Wainwright - all about a female highway robber with some super powers. Loads of dark magic and stuff in it. Nothing too taxing or gruesome, just fun. We usually only watch one a week, but we binged it over the weekend.

Finished S2 of Kin over the weekend. Without giving away too many spoilers, it feels like it could continue into a S3 - has there been any word of that? Bren Kinsella is a magnificent bastard in that show I have to say. Its not the best show I've watched but it's decent. Reminds me a bit of Ozark, but I think Ozark is better.

I think they will struggle to get the cast back together, especially now that Charlie Cox has gotten onboard with the MCU.

I watched the whole of Kin thinking his character was blind.

I haven’t seen it! My wife saw about 30 seconds on Gogglebox and declared it looked good. I’m a bit more sceptical. We’ll probably never get round to watching it so don’t wait around for my opinion!

I'm rewatching The Deuce. It's so good that I'm amazed that it didn't get the same critical acclaim that The Wire & Treme did, given that it's by the same writing team. I can only assume that the adult subject matter - 1970s seedy NYC and the advent of the porn industry - put off a wider audience. But it crackles along at a pace with wonderful dialogue very much in the same vein as The Wire. If you liked the Wire you'll enjoy this.

it is extremely similar to Hijack in its process, but not as good. Incident on a plane, played out in real time (countdown shown each episode to when it's supposed to land), cutting to the Home Office dealing with the incident on the ground. Carbon copy with a different scenario on the plane. I fully expect a show called something like Dry flight soon, where they haven't stocked enough alcohol and everyone is going nuts fermenting alcohol in their sick bags, but there's one shady character who has a hidden stash, with the Home Office trying to stop the flight landing in a country that's banned alcohol.

Started Servant on Apple a couple of weeks ago, currently halfway on Season 3, loving it, never even heard of it before, especially with M Night Shymalan tied to it, his daughter has directed a few episodes.

The Ginger from Harry potter is in it, best character in it.

Very weird show.

Finished off Shogun - exceptional stuff really. Really liked it

I do admit I have been a bit lapse on british tv shows since streaming became a thing mainly...and i tend to avoid all these royal family dramas. Have seen the night manager, mcmafia, Kin, slow horses now line of duty....i seem to remember people saying killing eve was great so might watch that too as well as the one you mentioned
